When Bollywood's hottest girl, Anushka Sharma met the cricket legend, Virat Kohli, the world knew that there are going to be sparks of love. And that's exactly what had happened when the duo had met for the first time in 2013 for an ad shoot. In that moment, they had felt love for each other. Then in the winters of 2017, Anushka and Virat had tied the knot in an intimate wedding and had left the entire nation's jaw dropped in awe. We remember in many interviews, the dashing cricketer, Virat had revealed that the whole destination wedding was planned single-handedly by his loving wife, Anushka. Virat and Anushka have set couple goals for our entire generation when they had decided to marry at the peak of their career. But they have been targeted millions of time by haters and trollers. We still remember there was a time when Anushka was trolled for Virat's poor performance and later for getting special treatment from the board of Indian cricket team. While she had kept silence for a long time, she had bared her heart in an open letter which she had posted on her official Instagram account on October 31, 2019.
And today, on November 1, 2019, Anushka created a fresh beginning by posting mushy pictures with the love of her life, Virat. In the pictures, we can see the couple laughing their heart out in front of a neon sign. Alongside it, Anushka wrote, "There is a light that never goes out." Take a look at the pictures below:
Coming back to Anushka's open letter, the actress had talked about all the times when she was subjected to public hate and her name was dragged in between her then-boyfriend and now-husband, Virat's performances. She had posted a picture, wherein she had written, "I have always been of the opinion that maintaining silence on false & fabricated news and stories against one are the best way to deal with your detractors. This is how I have handled my career for 11 years now. I always saw the dignity & truth embedded in the shadow of my silence. They say a lie so many times repeatedly that it starts to look like the truth and I am afraid this is what has been happening with me. My silence has made the lies spitted against me seem true but that ends today." (Also Read: Bipasha Basu And Husband, Karan Singh Grover, Twin In Black For Ayaz Khan's Halloween Party)

She had further written, "I have stayed quiet through all the times I was blamed for the performance of my then-boyfriend. now husband Virat and continue to take the blames for the most baseless things involving Indian cricket. I kept quiet then. My name has been used in fabricated stories claiming that I am part of closed-door team meetings and influenced selection processes and I have kept silent. My name has been wrongfully used to say how I have been given preferential treatment or how I have overstayed my authorised time with my husband on foreign tours which if anyone really cared about finding facts from the boards. would know that I have always and always followed protocol but yet. I kept quiet."
She had concluded her note with the words, "Today, I have decided to speak up because someone's silence cannot be taken as their weakness. I am not and will I not be a pawn to be used by anyone's thoughts or beliefs or agendas and next time you want to use my name to discredit someone or the board or even my husband, do it with facts and proof & leave me OUT of it. I have led my life. built my own career with the utmost dignity and I am not going to compromise that for anything. Maybe, it's hard for some to believe that, because, I am a self-made, independent woman who only happens to be the wife of a cricketer and for the records. I drink coffee."
We remember in the year 2016, Virat had shared a strong message to shut the trollers, who kept including Anushka's name in all the bad things. He had shared his thoughts in his Instagram post which could be read as "Shame on those people who have been having a go at Anushka for the longest time and connecting every negative thing to her. Shame on those people calling themselves educated. Shame on blaming and making fun of her when she has no control over what I do with my sport. If anything she has only motivated and given me more positivity. This was a long time coming. Shame on these people that hide and take a dig. And I don't need any respect for this post. Have some compassion and respect her. Think of how your sister or girlfriend or wife would feel if someone trolled them and very conveniently rubbished them in public."
