However, the actress has decided to give full responsibility to her brother, Karnesh to manage the production house because she wants to focus on her acting career.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Karnesh Sharma opened up about his idea behind the women-oriented OTT platform and shared his opinion about the same. He even mentioned that he is about to launch Clean OTT. He shared:
"Most of the programming that we have in our landscape is 70-80% male-dominated. There is obviously alienation of a consumer base that has not been catered to. The idea is, of course, to have an OTT platform for women. But it is also to have a platform that tells stories that have a positive female gaze. It could be a story with male protagonists but what the gaze of the story is for women is very important."
Further, Karnesh explained how it is not necessary to have a whole female cast and crew for the films or web shows in Clean OTT. He even talked about how his upbringing has helped to get a clear vision about Clean OTT. He shared that he and his sister, Anushka were grown up in a gender-neutral environment. He said:
"I come from a defence upbringing. My father was in the Indian Army and Anushka and I were never treated differently. We were never made to feel that she was a girl and I was a boy. As much as she had to come home early after playing in the evening, I had to too. It wasn't like I was given any leeway there. I think that's what Defence taught us. I would give a lot of credit to our upbringing and the Indian Armed Forces. We were born into a system that was neutral towards gender."

On March 19, 2022, Anushka Sharma had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a lengthy note in which she had announced that she is no longer a member of the production house, Clean Slate Filmz, which she had started with her brother, Karnesh Sharma many years ago. In the note, the actress revealed that she had taken this massive decision because she is a mother now, and she also wants to balance her life with her first love, that is acting. An excerpt from her note can be read as:
"When I started Clean Slate Filmz with my brother Karnesh Ssharma, we were novices when it came to production but we had a fire in our belly and we wanted to try and set the agenda of entertainment in India through clutter-breaking content. Being a new mother who has chosen to be an actor by profession, I have to balance my life in an entirely new fashion like never before. So, I have decided that whatever time I have at hand, I will dedicate it to my first love, acting! Therefore, I have decided to step away from CSF, confident that the most able person, Karnesh, is taking forward the vision with which it was created in the first place."
On the work front, Anushka Sharma will be next seen in the film, Chakda Xpress.
