Talking about herself, Anushka once stated, “In general, I’m an emotionally independent person. I’ve never been someone who shares too much about my emotional state with everybody. So, I’m not someone who has too many friends. The friends I have are mostly all around the world. So, I meet them when I can”.
Further speaking about how her life has been, Anushka in 2017 stated, “I have zero time to do anything other than working. The past three years, I’ve been shooting back-to-back and releasing movies. In the past couple of years, whatever work you’ve seen of mine, you can tell that there has been a range that I’ve tried to achieve. And it has been so consuming that I’ve not had time for anything else. So whatever time I get to unwind, I like to spend it with my family”. Whether you talk of acknowledging each other on social media, during press interactions or their physical presence for each other during achievements, Virushka (as their fans like to call them) have always scored full marks.
In an interview some time back, Virat quoted, “When I met my wife I began to change. I came from a very different background from north India and I had no idea of what happens in any other sphere of society or anyone else’s life. So, her life was very different. It came with her own challenges & perspective on things”. He also said, “It was amazing to just see myself how much different things were to the way I think. I was not a very practical person before that. But she has changed me a lot. I've learnt so much from her. That’s what it’s supposed to be like, you should help each other grow and she has certainly helped me grow.” (Do Check: Ek Duje Ke Vaaste's Namik Paul Shares A Cute Picture With His New-Born Niece, And We Are In Love)
