On January 24, 2022, Aparshakti Khurana took to his Instagram handle and shared a picture in which he penned a heartmelting letter for his daughter, Arzoie Khurana, on National Girl Child Day. From calling his daughter's entry into his life as a dream come true moment to revealing the way Arzoie made him understand the meaning of the word 'family' a bit more, Aparshakti proved that he's a hands-on daddy. His open letter can be read as:
"Dear Arzoie. Life feels like a feel-good Bollywood movie since the day you were born. Because of you, I know what it feels like to have your dream come true. Because of you, I understand the word 'family' a little bit. Arzoie you are too little to understand right now. But pappu promises to be with you through thick and thin. Through success and failure. Through 'I should get a haircut' and 'Oh no! why I should get a haircut?' Zuzu, how much you grow and who you grow up to be you will always be my little one."
Going further in the letter, the actor also revealed that every time he sings the song, Arziyaan from the film, Delhi 6, his daughter falls asleep. Although, Aparshakti also added that he doesn't know whether it is the power of music or his bad voice that makes his daughter go asleep as soon as he sings the song. Aparshakti also admitted that he understands the meaning behind the phrase, Maa-baap ke leye bache hamesha bache he rehte hain. The doting dad continued:
"You see it's only now that I understand what your grandparents mean when they say 'Maa-baap ke leye bache hamesha bache he rehte hain'. P.s. It feels amazing to see you sleep in my arms when I sing Arziyaan saari mein chehre pe likh ke laaaya hoon. Is it the power of music? Or is it my voice that makes you go "I'd rather be asleep than listen to this"! So you legit go ooooo zoooooooo. With love and only love, Your Paapoo."
