Malaika Arora's Dad, Anil Arora's Funeral: Arbaaz Khan Arrives For Last Rites With Wife, Shura Khan

Malaika Arora's family is currently grieving the loss of her father, Anil Arora, who passed away in the wee hours of September 11, 2024. Married to Joyce Polycarp, Anil was a proud father to their two daughters, Malaika and Amrita. Now, his tragic demise has left everyone shook to the core. He reportedly jumped from the balcony of his apartment.

Malaika Arora's family organised her father, Anil Arora's funeral at the Santa Cruz crematorium on September 12, 2024. Recently, the paps spotted Arbaaz Khan and his wife, Shura Khan, arriving for the last rites of Malaika's father. The duo twinned in white-hued outfits and didn't stop to pose for the paparazzi stationed outside the crematorium.

Malaika Arora's ex-husband, Arbaaz Khan arrived at her home after her father's death

Meanwhile, police authorities are investigating Malaika Arora’s father's death. Among others, Malaika’s former husband, Arbaaz Khan, was the first one to arrive at Anil Arora’s residence. A while back, popular photographer, Viral Bhayani shared a video of the visuals outside Malaika Arora's residence after her father committed suicide. The video showed Arbaaz Khan arriving at his ex-wife's house, and an ambulance was standing by the gate.

Malaika Arora shared a heartwrenching note after her father, Anil Mehta's demise

On September 11, 2024, Malaika Arora took to her IG handle and shared the first note after her father, Anil Mehta's demise. The picture featured Anil Mehta's photo in the bottom left corner, along with a note that informed about his passing. In the note, Malaika called him a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, a loving husband, and their best friend. Adding that their family is in deep shock, Malaika requested privacy in these difficult times. Her note could be read as:

"We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father, Anil Mehta. He was a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, a loving husband, and our best friend. Our family is in deep shock by the loss, and we  kindly request privacy from the media and well-wishers during this difficult times. We appreciate your understanding, support and respect."

May Anil Arora's soul rest in peace.
