For the unversed, Malaika and Arjun Kapoor have a 12-year age difference. In one of his previous interviews with Hindustan Times, Arjun was quoted as saying:

“It was hell for us for many days. She had to face so much because of the fact that we came out in the open, but I admire her for giving me and our relationship so much dignity. Standing by Malaika never felt like something extraordinary. It felt just the right thing, the most natural thing to do.”

However, Malaika in a throwback interview with Brides Today, felt that she was connected with Arjun and deeply loved him. Speaking about her relationship with him, she said:

“Our world is so obsessed with tags… There is an age difference, but it has never been an issue between us. I think he is insanely wise for his age, and that he has a very deep and strong soul. He is someone who’s very liberated and extremely caring. I don’t think they make men like that anymore.”

Malaika has never seen herself as an actor

Malaika Arora came into the spotlight as the ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya' girl. The actress continued to showcase her dancing potential with several popular songs like Munni Badnaam Hui, Maahi Ve, Hoth Rasiley, and Anarkali Disco Chali. She is known for her dance than her acting on the big screen. When Malaika was once asked in an interview with Times Entertainment, if she ever felt that her acting talent did not get a chance in films, she revealed:

“I’ve never seen myself as an actor, and I’ve never wanted to be one. I have also never said that I wanted to do a particular role. But having said that, never say never. If I get any opportunity where I feel that I can do justice to a role, I will do it.”
