Arjun Kapoor Takes Care Of Malaika Arora After Her Dad's Last Rites, Amrita Arora Cries Inconsolably

Malaika Arora and her family are grieving the loss of her father, Anil Mehta, who passed away on September 11, 2024. Her close friends and family members arrived at her parent's residence to pay their respects. Surprisingly, Malaika's ex-husband, Arbaaz Khan, and her ex-boyfriend, Arjun Kapoor, rushed to the scene to support her. While Arjun and Malaika parted ways a few months back, they proved that they will be together through thick and thin.

In a video doing rounds on the internet, Malaika Arora was seen exiting the crematorium after her father's funeral. She was dressed in a simple white suit and tied her hair in a bun. Malaika looked devastated after performing the last rites of her dad, and Arjun Kapoor consoled her. He was walking behind her and talking to her as they left for home. Arjun even shielded Malaika from the paps and was seen taking care of her.

Amrita Arora is inconsolable after her father's last rites

Not just Malaika, even Amrita Arora was seen crying inconsolably after her father, Anil Mehta's funeral. She was spotted sitting inside the car with her head covered with a dupatta. Her face was swollen, possibly due to her emotional breakdown. Amrita's condition was simply heartbreaking, and she couldn't stop the tears from falling.

Arjun Kapoor escorted Malaika Arora to the car as they left her parents' house

Late at night, on September 11, 2024, the Arora sisters, Malaika and Amrita, were seen exiting their parents' home. While Amrita's husband, Shakeel, consoled her and held her tight, Malaika was accompanied by Arjun Kapoor. However, it was Arjun's heart-melting gesture for Malaika that swooned our hearts as he carefully escorted his ex-girlfriend to the car. Arjun stood at the car's gate and helped Malaika get inside without any trouble. Needless to say, the actor's concern for Malaika was clearly evident as he stayed by her side till late at night and even helped her to get home safely.

Malaika Arora's father, Anil Mehta, was a retired Merchant Navy officer. On the morning of September 11, 2024, the 65-year-old reportedly jumped from the sixth floor of his apartment in Bandra, where he lived with his ex-wife, Joyce Polycarp. It was his wife who found out about his death when she started looking for him after seeing his slippers lying in the living room. According to the postmortem report, Anil passed away due to multiple injuries on his body.
