Bollywood actor, Arjun Kapoor and his half-sister and actress, Janhvi Kapoor, recently appeared together on the cover of a popular international magazine. During an interview with the same, they opened up about their bond as a family. They also talked about the changes, they've discovered in their relations after iconic actress and their father, Boney Kapoor's second wife, Sridevi's demise on February 24, 2018.
It is a known fact that earlier, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor were not on good terms with their father, Boney Kapoor's second wife, Sridevi and their daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. However, Sridevi's sudden and unexpected demise had brought the family closer, and Arjun and Anshula had stood as strong pillars for their family.

In an interview with the popular American monthly magazine, Harper's Bazaar, Arjun Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor talked about the dynamics of the two families and the impact their father, Boney Kapoor's second wife and actress, Sridevi's demise had on their respective bonds with each other. The half-brother-sister duo also opened up about their family dinners and their willingness to meet and see each other. Reflecting on the initial phases of her and Khushi Kapoor's bond with their half-siblings, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor, the Gunjan Saxena actress said, "We started off by making plans over the first couple of months."
However, with time, things have changed, only for good, and Janhvi Kapoor added that now they don't make plans for meeting each other. Instead, she, Khushi Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, and Anshula Kapoor meet for family dinners in quick succession. She added, "We started off by making plans over the first couple of months, but now we meet for family dinners every two or three weeks."

Going further in their interview, Janhvi Kapoor also clearly explained that they don't try to meet with a certain pressure on their head. She explained, "It doesn't feel like, 'Oh, we must make an effort or we must meet', there is a willingness to meet as a family. It feels much more organic now. It's not like we go to each other's homes every day, or know every little detail about each other's lives. But I felt an instant security with Arjun bhaiya and Anshula didi, a feeling of comfort. I wake up every day knowing that they always have my back, no matter what."

In the same interview, Arjun Kapoor also opened up about his evolving bond with his half-sisters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. The actor also admitted that earlier there used to be complete silence during their meetings because of their past differences. He said, "There were silences. We would meet, but there was no communication worth quantifying. Glad you caught onto that (Janhvi's comment 'We have the same father'). And that is something no-one can take away from us."
