After months of waiting and piquing the curiosity of the viewers, the much-awaited trailer of Dhadak is slated to unveil on June 11, 2018. Bollywood’s two debutants, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter, Janhvi Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor’s half-brother, Ishaan Khatter are all set to make their own identities in the B-town world. All the eyes are on the young pair of Bollywood, or we can say in Arjun Kapoor’s words, ‘the modern Romeo and Juliet’. As Janhvi Kapoor is set to embark on her new journey, the doting brother Arjun Kapoor apologised to her for not being ‘by her side’. Penning down an emotional note of advice to his younger sister, Namaste England star tweeted, “Tomorrow you will be part of the audience forever Janhvi Kapoor cause your trailer comes out... Firstly, sorry I’m not there in Mumbai but I’m by your side, don’t worry.”
The note could be further read as, “I just wanted you to know this profession is amazing if you work hard, be honest, learn to take the accolades with the brickbats, respect opinions, yet follow your own path and instinct. It’s not gonna be easy but I know you are ready for all the madness that will ensue. All the best for #dhadak! Arjun Kapoor shared two adorable pictures on his social media accounts from #SonamKiShaadi. One is the above family picture with Boney Kapoor and his four children, Arjun, Anshula, Janhvi and Khushi; and the other one is the following siblings' picture! The nervous and excited Janhvi replied to Arjun’s post on Instagram, "I'll make you proud I promise." In Vogue’s June edition, Janhvi spoke about how her mother, Sridevi reacted after watching 25 minutes of her debut film, Dhadak. In conversation with her films’ filmmaker, Karan Johar, Janhvi revealed, “She was very technical about it. The first thing she told me was the things I needed to improve — she felt the mascara was smudged and it really bothered her. Janhvi also shared that how Sridevi’s demise, their family came together. Janhvi was quoted as saying, “It’s made us feel safe and secure. I think, even for Papa, it’s a source of comfort. It’s definitely tied us together. We’ve lost mom and I don’t think that’s a loss any of us will ever get over.” She further went to say that her mother was a constant inspiration for her, “That’s always been my motivation. After sharing a strained relationship with his father, Boney Kapoor’s second wife Sridevi and their children, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor, Arjun shed away his old grudges and stood there for his family in the tough times. After the sudden demise of Sridevi on February 24, 2018, Arjun and Anshula Kapoor stood there as strong pillars for their father, Boney Kapoor and half-siblings, Janhvi and Khushi. Recently, Namaste England actor, Arjun Kapoor re-tweeted a blog titled 'A good upbringing by an inspiring mom!!!' with a picture of him with his siblings, Anshula, Janhvi and Khushi from Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand S Ahuja's wedding reception. Acknowledging the blogger, Arjun tweeted, "Hey @aakanksha3131, me and @anshulakapoor represent our mother every single second we live...she would expect us to have been standing next to our father no matter what n be there for Janhvi and Khushi... thank you for ur kind words bout our mother...as she would say god bless u..."
