It is not hidden from the world that Janhvi Kapoor is Arjun Kapoor's half-sister from their father, Boney Kapoor's second marriage to actress, Sridevi. Therefore, it is expected that the half-siblings duo would be at loggerheads with each other. However, defying this notion, the Kapoor siblings have proven to the world that no matter how many differences they have, they will never stop supporting each other.
Back in 2018, when Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor had lost their mother, Sridevi, it was their half-brother, Arjun Kapoor and half-sister, Anshula Kapoor, who had stood beside them and had extended their love and support to the girls, who had recently lost their mother. Not only that, but Arjun Kapoor also took active participation in performing the late actress' last rites and ever since then, he has gained immense respect from all of us.

Addressing his feelings on being called bhaiya by Jannhvi he said, "It sounds a bit religious also, Brother Arjun. The thing is, 'Arjun bhaiyya' still sounds very strange to me, only because Anshula calls me 'bhai' in a very strange way. 'Arjun bhaiyya' is a very new thing. So, when Janhvi says that, it still feels very, very new to me, actually."
Going further in the interview, the Ishaqzaade actor, Arjun Kapoor shared that he never asked his half-sister, Janhvi Kapoor, to address him in that way. He added, "I think it just comes very naturally to Janhvi to call me 'Arjun bhaiyya' because I have never even told her, 'You should call me this' or call me that."
