In a podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia, Arjun Rampal opened up about an array of topics related to his personal and professional lives. “I love making love (laughs). I think love-making is a very important part of your life but yes, I think being with one partner is even more important. When you are sharing a bed, sharing physicality, you don’t realise it there is a huge energy exchange, shift in what you are taking in from that person as well. It is going into your DNA somewhere.”

Arjun, who mentioned getting married to his first wife at the age of 24, shared that it was too early. And then, calling men as idiots, he was heard saying, "If you want to be successful in it (marriage), wait it out." Afterwards, sharing his thoughts on cheating, Arjun called it an addiction. The handsome actor then wondered how, despite being with one partner and maintaining a healthy physical and emotional connection in monogamous relationships, people tend to cheat. In Arjun's words:
“It’s an addiction, it’s a habit that people created for themselves. I know a lot of people who need another woman or whatever and they are in a very happy marriage, they call it happy marriage, I don’t know how, whatever it is, they say it’s just a fling, or nothing, but it’s not just nothing. It’s actually an addiction, it’s actually going to pull you down.”
Even after being with Gabriella for a long time, Arjun and his ladylove haven't tied the knot. They are in a live-in relationship along with their kids. Moreover, Gabriella also shares a lovely bond with Arjun's daughters. However, in the same conversation, Arjun revealed the real reason why the couple has not taken the plunge yet. He stated that marriage is just a piece of paper, and shared:
"Marriage is just a piece of paper. We are already married, and there is no doubt about that in my mind. But sometimes what that piece of paper can do is change you. You're just legally bound in a way, but it could change your attitude towards each other. In both our minds, we are married to each other... I have two beautiful boys with her. I am blessed. My daughters and her (Gabriella) get along beautifully."
