The much-awaited IPL (Indian Premier League) debut of the greatest cricketer of all time, Sachin Tendulkar’s son, Arjun Tendulkar, happened on April 16, 2023. The young bowler brought back so many memories of his father as soon as he stepped onto the ground donning the jersey of Mumbai Indians. Before the start of the match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders, Arjun received the cap from his team’s impact player, Rohit Sharma, and it was a moment of history for the young cricketer, who has finally achieved another significant step in his cricketing journey.
When Arjun Tendulkar made his debut in the Indian Premier League (IPL), he and his father, Sachin Tendulkar, became the first father-son duo to play in this league. It was a special moment for the Master-blaster, who had also played for the same team for years before hanging his gloves in 2013. Talking about Arjun’s IPL debut, he bowled two overs and conceded 17 runs but couldn’t get a wicket. With so much pressure and expectations on his debut, it was indeed a commendable performance by Arjun in his debut match against a fiery team like KKR.

As soon as Arjun Tendulkar started grabbing the headlines for his bowling in the media, another thing that grabbed the eyeballs was his height. The young Mumbai Indians bowler is 6’3, while his parents, Sachin Tendulkar is 5’5, and his mother, Anjali Tendulkar is 5’4. If the reports are to be believed, Arjun Tendulkar has reportedly taken some HGH (Human Growth Hormone) injections in order to increase his height. People are speculating about it as Arjun’s parents are short in height, which clearly explains that his height isn’t a result of genetics. However, there’s no proof of the same at the moment.
The reports speculating that Arjun Tendulkar took some growth hormone injections are completely baseless, as no proof has surfaced in the media. However, as per multiple human growth experts, Arjun followed a strict diet right from the beginning of his childhood days.

The youngster’s parents, Sachin Tendulkar and Anjali Tendulkar, made sure not to skip anything that was suggested by the dietician, which resulted in making their son tremendously tall. As per reports, with the help of a specially-designed diet and exercise plan, Arjun achieved the height he has today.
One of the biggest reasons why people are super-excited to see how things will unfold in Arjun Tendulkar’s cricketing career goes to the fun fact that he is a bowler, unlike his father. When reports of Sachin’s son, Arjun, following his footsteps and becoming a cricketer, came out in public for the first time, people thought they would see another master blaster.
However, destiny had other plans, and it turned out to be completely opposite as the son of one of the greatest batsmen in the game's history, if not the best, turned out to be a bowler. However, Arjun has already shown that he has the potential to be one of the best fast pace bowlers in the world. As per his coach, Arjun can easily touch the mark of 135 km/h consistently.
