Bigg Boss fame, Armaan Kohli has often been pulled into quite a few controversies, and the latest being the assault case against his ex-girlfriend, Neeru Randhawa, in 2018. For the unversed, Neeru, previously in June 2018 had filed a complaint to the Mumbai Police against Armaan citing physical assault, leading to severe head injury. And now, the Bombay High Court has announced the final verdict of the case, wherein the actor has been commanded to pay a hefty fine as a settlement.
As per the latest verdict in Armaan Kohli’s case, the Bombay High Court has ordered the actor to pay an amount of Rs. 50 lakhs to Neeru Randhawa as full and final settlement of the case. The actor has further been notified of his deadline till July 18, 2023, post which if he fails to pay the amount, he shall be awarded jail sentence. Earlier, the court had announced Armaan to pay another cheque of Rs. 50 lakhs to Neeru, after the court proceedings was over. However, according to the latter, the cheques got bounced and she had to come back to the court and demand for a resurrection of the case.

In an earlier shocking interview with the Bombay Times in June 2018, Neeru Randhawa had reported of her massive assault publicly. She had revealed that Armaan started to have a heated argument with her in Goa over just a frivolous matter. After a lot of arguments, Armaan had started to verbally abuse her, and even before she could realise, Armaan had banged her head against the floor, and even thrown her down a flight of stairs. Right after her shocking abuse, Neeru had immediately filed a police complaint against Armaan, only to take it back later.
In the same interview, Neeru had recalled that it was not the first time that she was physically assaulted at the hands of Armaan. Moreover, she also highlighted his fickle-minded nature and revealed that he used to send her apologetic messages immediately after such incidents, which also included fake promises of marrying her at any instant.

Even before Neeru Randhawa, Armaan Kohli was in a serious relationship with actress, Tanisha Mukerji. The duo had met while appearing on the reality show, Bigg Boss 7 together. The duo shared a close proximity and bonding inside the show, and the same was also frequently visible after they were out of the show. Unfortunately, their relationship never attained completion and due to reasons best known to them, the duo broke up.
