Arpita Khan Sharma Sells Her 2,500 Square Feet Apartment For Rs. 22 Crore, Moves To A Smaller One

Salman Khan’s younger sister, Arpita Khan Sharma, was recently reported to have sold her elite apartment located in the Khar area, Mumbai. The massive apartment is located in the posh Flying Carpet Building in Khar West and is spread across 2500 square feet.

Arpita Khan Sharma purchased her magnificent apartment back in 2017. At that time, the sprawling property was reportedly priced at Rs. 18 crore. Situated in the Flying Carpet Building, the property includes a spacious terrace spanning 1600 square feet. Not only that, the property has its own parking space that could fit nine cars! The flat was reportedly gifted to Arpita Khan Sharma and her husband, Aayush Sharma by Salman Khan.

According to reports, Arpita Khan Sharma sold her 2500 sq ft property to Shivaya Cinewise Pvt Ltd and the deal was finalised on October 10, 2024. A report by Hindustan Times revealed that the official transaction for this premium property cost its buyer Rs. 30,000 for registration and an additional Rs. 1.32 crore for stamp duty.

Arpita Khan’s former property is situated at one of the most premium locations in Mumbai, given its proximity to Pali Hill, Bandra Bandstand, Carter Road and the Gymkhana Club. The locality is a common neighbourhood of some of the biggest stars in Bollywood, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Rekha, Ranbir Kapoor and Naseeruddin Shah.

The Flying Carpet Building is one of the prime residents in the Khar West locality, with 3 and 4 BHK apartments available at a price range of Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 70,000 per square foot. Meanwhile, Arpita Khan Sharma had reportedly purchased another apartment in the same building in 2022. The new property, spanning 1,750 sq ft, reportedly cost her Rs. 10 crore. The couple has also been reported to have purchased another luxury home in Worli.

Arpita Khan Sharma tied the knot with actor, Aayush Sharma back in 2014 and they are now parents to two children, Ahil and Ayat. While her brother, Salman Khan continues appearing on the sets of Bigg Boss 18 amid alleged death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Aayush Sharma is set to star in the upcoming film, Kwatha.
