The family episode is hands down the most favourite part of every Bigg Boss season. This year, too, the family episodes are garnering much love and adoration from the viewers, and soon, we will get to see Arun Mashettey’s wife, Malak, entering the show with their toddler daughter. Fans can’t wait to see the family on-screen. However, Malak comes into the show bearing bad news.
Arun Mashettey’s wife, Malak, entered the BB17 house during the family week and had a teary reunion with her husband. Their toddler daughter, later joined the couple, and her cuteness was too much to handle. Every housemate was in awe of the happy family, and so were the viewers. However, Malak came bearing a bad news. She revealed to Arun that she suffered a miscarriage while he was inside the house.

As per a report by Tellychakkar, Malak suffered a miscarriage during Diwali 2023. In an exclusive conversation with The Times Of India, Malak revealed that Bigg Boss helped her to break the news to her husband. She comforted Arun and made him understand that the difficult time is now over, and the couple should now focus on the positives. Talking more about her miscarriage, Malak added:
“Bigg Boss helped me to break the news of the miscarriage. I made him understand that the difficult time has passed. I have dealt with it and now you have to also get over it. It has happened, and now it has passed. “
Malak was pregnant at the time Arun entered the BB house. However, the couple decided to keep it a secret from the public. Malak did not reveal what led to her miscarriage but divulged that she has healed from the trauma and is doing fine now. In her words:
'Yes, it was a difficult phase, but it has passed and I am fine now.’

Though the family week in Bigg Boss is an emotional roller-coaster ride, this year, it brought about a fair share of drama along with it. Ankita Lokhande’s mother and mother-in-law entered the show and rebuked her and Vicky for their nasty fights in the show. Vicky’s mother even scolded Ankita for throwing chappal at her husband on national television.
