Asim Riaz Shares Cryptic Post On 'Insult', While KKK 14's Shilpa Shinde Comes Out In His Support

Khatron Ke Khiladi season 14 has been hogging all the limelight due to an ugly fight between the show's host, Rohit Shetty and contestant, Asim Riaz. After the heated exchange, the model-turned-rapper was eliminated from the show. After much backlash, Asim has finally reacted to the incident, and shared a cryptic post.

Asim Riaz shares a cryptic post on 'insult'

On July 30, 2024, Asim took to his Instagram account to share a post on his stories after he was recently eliminated from the stunt-based show. He uploaded a picture of a leopard and four dogs. The leopard was seen sitting in a cage while the dogs raced out of it. The text above the picture can be read as:

"Sometimes trying to prove that you are the best is an insult."

Shilpa Shinde says Asim Riaz was provoked on Khatron Ke Khiladi 14

Meanwhile, after Asim's eviction, his KKK 14 co-contestant, Shilpa Shinde, also reacted to the incident during an interview with Times Now. Even while she agreed that Asim's behaviour was inappropriate, she pointed the finger at the other competitors for provoking and intimidating him, which made him act out of character. She was quoted as saying:

"Kuch bhi nahin hua tha. Aap ke sar paani chala jata hai. Down-to-earth hona chahiya. Ek banda ek taraf aur baki ek jhoondh hai, usko bhadkaya gaya as they knew his nature. Sablog success handle nahin kar pate. Sab log galat the, sab log sahi the. Maine use baar baar bola ki woh chup rahe, bahas na kare."

Shilpa further mentioned that Asim wasn't aggressive but was, in fact, trying to convey what he had gone through while performing the stunt. She also emphasised that the show, KKK is not like Bigg Boss; it's a stunt-based show, and hence, there was no need to get verbal. In her words:

"Woh aggressive nahin tha, but he is talkative… he wanted to share his experience and the pain he has gone through. Usko zyada bolne ki aadat hai. Usko chup karana padta hai. Uske bolne ka andaaz galat ho sakata hai . Yeh Bigg Boss nahin hai.. aapki wahan dosti huyi toh uski respect karni chahiya. Isko kheencho mat rubber ki tarah, stunt wala show hai mooh se jhagda karne ki koi zarurat nahin hai. "

What led to Asim Riaz's eviction from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14?

Asim was eliminated from the show when he was unable to complete a task that the other contestants did. He soon mentioned that the task was unachievable and asked the Khatron Ke Khiladi team to perform it in front of him. After this, the show's host, Rohit Shetty, played a practice video in which the team successfully finished the task. Soon, he and the show's host got into a heated argument, with Rohit accusing Asim of being rude, adding that Asim had already referred to his fellow competitors as "losers."
