Atul Subhash's suicide case has left the entire nation in shock and raised concerns about men's security, thereby raising questions about the challenges and hardships that they have to face in their marriages. 34-year-old Bengaluru-based techie, Atul Subhash committed suicide after he was unable to find a solution to deal with the extreme pressure in financial matters that was put upon him by his estranged wife, Nikita Singhania. He left a 24-page suicide note and a video to explain his condition. Nikita was arrested on December 15, 2024. Meanwhile, Atul Subhash's father, Pawan Kumar Modi revealed some shocking claims.
Atul Subhash and Nikita Singhania got married in 2019, and it was in 2022, when Nikita filed a complaint against her husband, stating that she was being mentally and physically harassed by him and her in-laws for dowry. She claimed that Atul used to beat her and her in-laws demanded Rs. 10 lakh for dowry. Now, Atul's father, in an interview with OneIndia, revealed the truth. He denied Nikita's claims and mentioned that there was no iota of truth in the claims, as they didn't take a single penny as dowry from Nikita or her family.
Atul Subhash's father also revealed that the wedding took place in Benaras, and they had taken their guests to the wedding, and he still has the invoice for the online transaction. Atul's father further stated that whatever Nikita's family wanted to give her at the wedding, she had taken everything back years ago.
In the same interview, Atul Subhash's father claimed that Nikita Singhania had demanded Rs. 50 lakh to buy a house, and the late techie even gave her a total of Rs. 15-16 lakh. Pawan Kumar Modi added that Atul couldn't give the entire amount, and since then, this planning has been going on against his son.
For the unversed, Atul Subhash was a tech professional from Bengaluru, while his wife, Nikita Singhania was employed at Accenture as an AI engineer consultant. Talking to the recent interview, Atul's father revealed that Nikita, herself, has a package of Rs. 20-25 lakh. For the unversed, Nikita joined Accenture back in 2021 as a senior analyst, and later, she was promoted to the position of consultant.

For the unversed, Nikita Singhania asked her estranged husband Rs. 40K for the maintenance of her son, which the late techie used to give. Well, not only this, she also wanted Rs. 3 crore alimony, which Atul was not able to provide. During the case hearing, he told the district judge about the same, and she demanded Rs. 5 lakh as a bribe.
