Atul Subhash left the entire nation in tears and shock after he committed suicide. He clearly stated in his 24-page letter that it was the corrupt judicial system and his estranged wife and her parents who forced him to end his life. Atul Subhash ended his life on December 9, 2024. Later, when the news broke on the internet, his wife's family left the home late at night.
When reporters tried reaching late Atul Subhash's in-laws, they threatened the reporters over the coverage. However, they have left their residence in Jaunpur late at night. According to murmurs, to avoid arrest after being named in the FIR by Bengaluru police under sections 108 and 3(5) of the BNS. A video of Atul's mother-in-law, Nisha Singhania, late at night on a bike has been making rounds on the internet.
When the team of CNN-News19 visited Subhash's estranged wife, Nikita Singhania's home, they found the main door locked. When they tried connecting with the in-laws, they didn't answered anything. They reportedly feared the arrest.

Talking about late Atul Subhash's in-laws, they are neither ashamed nor mourning what they did. A user on X shared how Atul Subhash's brother-in-law is reacting aggressively over the coverage of the news. In a video going viral, Atul's mother-in-law and brother-in-law are shouting and arguing with reporters. From their balcony, the family demanded the reporter to turn off his camera.

In the 24-page long note, Atul talked about the bond he had shared with his son. He added that his life lit up the moment his son entered his life. But sadly, he became the reason why he gave up on his life. Atul further tried recalling his son's face but stated that he seemed to be just a tool of blackmail to extort more and more money.
Atul clearly stated that while he loves his son, his priority is to protect his parents from harassment, and he can sacrifice 100 sons like him for his father. He wrote:
"I can sacrifice 100 sons like you for my father. I can sacrifice a 1000 of me for you."
On December 11, 2024, Atul Subhash's mother fainted at the Patna airport. Her husband was giving an interview while she was crying inconsolably. Everyone was left shocked when she fainted at the airport. In the video shared by the PTI, the mother was lying on the floor, and it was a heartbreaking sight to witness. It is reported that just before fainting, the mother was heard saying, 'Get my son justice'.
