Baba Siddique's Demise: Devastated Salman Khan Arrived, Shilpa Teared Up, Two Culprits Were Detained

Baba Siddique's tragic demise has left everyone utterly heartbroken. For the unversed, Baba Siddique was a popular name in the political world, and he was a key Muslim political leader in Maharashtra. The 66-year-old also served as a state minister. Apart from politics, Baba Siddique was also known for his socialite image. Each year, he would host grand Iftar parties, which several Bollywood stars would attend. Well, on October 12, 2024, Baba Siddique was shot dead. Among others, Baba Siddique had a special bond with Salman Khan. After the politician's demise, Salman reportedly left his work midway and rushed to the hospital.

Salman Khan used to share a warm bond with Baba Siddique and his family members. Each year, he would attend the grand iftar parties hosted by the politician. Well, as per a report, on October 12, 2024, when Baba Siddiqui's demise reports made rounds, Salman Khan was filming for Bigg Boss 18, which he stopped and rushed to the hospital. A video of the actor arriving at the Lilavati Hospital surfaced online. In the video, Salman looked devastated while being on his way to meet his friend's family.

Bollywood stars who arrived at the Lilavati Hospital after Baba Siddique's tragic demise

Apart from Salman Khan, several other Bollywood actors reached Lilavati Hospital after Baba Siddique breathed his last there post being shot. Among others, Zaheer Iqbal, Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra, Sanjay Dutt, Priya Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh, and Veer Pahariya rushed to meet Baba Siddique's family in this tough time. Maharastra CM, Eknath Sindhe also marked his presence.

Two suspects were detained in connection to Baba Siddique's demise 

For the unversed, it was reported that Baba Siddique was shot dead near his son, Zeeshan Siddique's office in Bandra. If the reports are to be followed, multiple rounds were aimed at him, and one of the bullets struck his chest, causing the politician's demise. Two culprits were detained in close connection to the incident, which took place while the fireworks were going on during Dussehra celebrations.

As per the police, one of the culprits was from Haryana, while the other one was from Uttar Pradesh. There is also a chance of a third culprit being involved in the same case, and the search is currently underway to detain him as of now.

Why was Baba Siddique shot dead?

Baba Siddique's demise came as a shock to many. It was only 12 hours ahead of his demise that he posted a Tweet wishing everyone a happy Dussehra. Well, the reason for which Baba Siddique was shot is still not known. There's no denying the fact that such a tragic incident has caused a clamour in the locality as well, and currently, an investigation is underway to track the motive behind Baba Siddique's demise.
