Baba Siddique was brutally shot to death on October 12, 2024. Three goons shot him right in his chest in front of his son, Zeeshan's office in Bandra, East Mumbai. He was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital, but he unfortunately passed away in between treatment. Police are currently investigating the matter and have taken two suspects under custody. Now, the suspects have made some shocking revelations over the brutal firing.
As per a report from The TOI, the assailants revealed that they were instructed to shoot Baba Siddique and his son, Zeeshan. The arrested duo, Dharmaraj Kashyap and Gurmail Singh elaborated that if Zeeshan was present at the crime location, they were instructed to shoot him, too. Fortunately, the MLA was not present with his father at that time, and it was only Baba Siddique who was killed. A police official added:

"This points to a more coordinated and far-reaching plot, with the attack potentially serving as a message to high-profile figures, including actor Salman Khan."
As per the same report, Zeeshan knew that his life was at risk, and a month back in September, he requested for more security. Which is why his security was upgraded to Y-plus security, which included three armed constables who protected him round-the-clock. In the official's words:
“Around the second week of Sept, Zeeshan’s security was enhanced from one police guard to Y-plus security, which includes three armed constables providing round-the-clock protection.”
Saying goodbye to a loved one is never easy, especially if it is a parent. Baba Siddique's son, Zeeshan, broke down in tears as he performed his father's last rites. Even the sky cried as Baba Siddique's near and dear ones bid him farewell. The politician's body was wrapped in flowers as his son, Zeeshan, said a teary goodbye.
Baba Siddique's daughter, Arshia's emotional outburst spoke volumes about her pain of losing her dad all of a sudden. As she bid her father, Baba Siddique, her final goodbye, the professional doctor broke down in tears and tightly held her brother, Zeeshan's hand.
