We will never see an actor as exceptional as the late actor, Irrfan Khan ever again in Indian cinema, who gave tons of elite performances with so much ease and perfection throughout his career. However, on April 29, 2020, he had left us all for the heavenly abode. No words can ease the pain of the loss of such a great artist. It was on April 28, 2020, when Irrfan was admitted at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital for colon infection and had passed away the very next morning. The news of his sudden demise had saddened the whole nation. Even to this very day, the pictures and videos of his famous movie characters and dialogues keep on floating all over the internet and make us cry a little harder. However, since then, his wife, Sutapa Sikdar and son, Babil Khan never skip a day without sharing something about Irrfan on their respective social media handles. Talking about his son, who is on the road of becoming a filmmaker, the young lad always shares the valuable lessons he had learned from his father about cinema and life. On August 30, 2020, late Bollywood actor, Irrfan Khan's son, Babil Khan took to his Instagram handle and shared a classy and cool picture of his friends alongside his dad from one of the award functions. In the picture, we can see Irrfan posing with the youngsters, and it clearly shows that he was a cool father, who had shared a warm bond with his son. Along with this picture, Babil wrote a simple caption, and it can be read as "Reminiscing, Baba and homies." Take a look. Irrfan had shared a warm and friendly relationship with his two sons, Babil and Ayaan. In a 2017 interview, the legendary actor had revealed how he had reacted on seeing a 'love bite' on his son, Babil's neck! The 'daddy cool' had revealed his reaction on his son, Babil's love life. He had said, "My kids are very open with me. When I saw a love mark on his neck and confronted him about it, he said, 'no it's not that, it is a rash.' I said to him, Beta congratulations. (laughs)." He had further emphasised on the importance of making kids comfortable with sharing everything with parents.
Irrfan had talked about discussing intimate topics with kids and had said, "Just tell them (kids) it is natural. If you are not curious about it, then there is something wrong with you. If you are curious and want to explore, please go ahead, and this is the way life is. This is the best gift nature has given to you. Explore it. Explore it in a way that you don't hurt anybody. But, find its potential." In Irrfan's opinion, two people getting together is a wonderful thing if it is not made into a commodity. Irrfan had also shared his experience from when he was a teen and had cited that he was never embarrassed to discuss such things with his mother.

On August 7, 2020, Babil Khan had taken to his Instagram stories and had posted two pictures of the surprise gifts that he had received once from his late father. The first picture is of Oscar-winning film, Joker's script. On the script, we could see a message being scribbled by the late actor, and it could be read as "For U. These are confidential until the movie releases. Baba" And, his son, Babil too penned a caption atop it, which can be read as "That time Baba (I used to call him baba) sent me the Joker script before it released and I was in film school like "WHA-?!" and I hid it from all my friends till the film released." The next picture is of the script of another Oscar-winning movie, Jojo Rabbit and revealing the same, Babil had written, "And this" atop it. Take a look.
