One of the biggest rappers in the country right now, Badshah needs no introduction, as he's the voice behind iconic songs like, Jugnu, Mercy, Paagal, Genda Phool, Dj Waley Babu, Proper Patola, Kala Chashma, and the list goes on. However, although everyone knows him by his stage name, Badshah, not even some of his die-hard fans are aware of the fact that his real name is Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia. The rapper, who had done B. Tech in Civil Engineering from Chandigarh had shifted his career when he had realised that he was born to play with words instead of machines.
Badshah had made a choice, saw a dream, and had started working hard towards his ultimate goal of becoming a rapper. Years passed by, and today he is one of the most bankable rappers in the industry. However, he often gets trolled and receives immense hate for achieving so much in such a short span with his unshakable devotion to his art. Once again, it has happened, and the rapper has won everyone's hearts with his response to it.

On June 1, 2022, Badshah took to his Instagram stories and shared a monochrome picture of the late iconic singer, KK from one of his concerts. The rapper posted this picture after he learnt about the heart-breaking news about KK's demise. Badshah was so numbed with the singer's untimely demise that he just penned a word atop the picture as he wrote, "Why", followed by a broken heart emoticon. Soon he received an utterly disgusting reply from a user in his DM, who asked the rapper when he would die. The user wrote, "Tu kab marega bkl". In response to the user's message, Badshah wrote a note atop the screenshot in which he stated that as a celebrity, he faces these sorts of hate messages daily. The rapper wrote:

However, despite receiving hate messages of this heart-wrenching level, Badshah has never lost his cool and always gives it back to the trolls in the best manner possible. The rapper did exactly the same this time around, too. A few minutes back, he shared another IG story in which he penned a short note in which he shared his views about the kind of world we live in. Badshah had also added that for him, mental peace is a luxury and also the priority of his life is to have healthy mental health. Reflecting on the way he had suffered severe anxiety disorders in the past, Badshah had shared:
"The priority of my life is mental health. Mental peace is a luxury for me, because of the pressure we feel everyday. I have been through the darkest of times. When it comes to my mental health, I have been through clinical depression, I have been through severe anxiety disorder. So, I know I do not want to go there (again). And, to avoid that, you have to be selfish in a good way."
