Badshah Shares His Parents Predicted Issues Between Him And His Ex-Wife Jasmine 'She Couldn't Adapt'

One of the famous singers and rappers, Badshah, rose to fame with his hit songs like Genda Phool, Sanak, Buzz, Jugnu, and DJ Wale Babu, among others. His songs leave everyone grooving to the beats, and he never shies away from wooing his fans with his electrifying song numbers. Badshah often makes it to the headlines with his personal life. For the unversed, Badshah was earlier married to Jasmine Masih, and they parted ways after a few years. Badshah never really opened up about the real reason for his separation, and now he shared the main reason why he and Jasmine decided to call it quits.

Badshah finally opens up about his failed marriage with Jasmine Masih

Badshah recently sat for an interview with the Lallantop, wherein he opened up about his failed marriage. Sharing how he met Jasmine, Badshah stated that he met his ex-wife on Facebook and then through a common friend and started dating for one year before their marriage. The singer added that it's extremely important to examine how two people can co-exist before jumping into any big decision, and in these cases, parents are often right. Badshah added:

"We met online, on Facebook, and then connected via a common friend. We dated for over a year, and then got married. It’s important to do your due diligence. It’s important to examine how people can co-exist. Parents are usually right. They asked me if I was sure.”

Badshah reveals how his parents predicted that there would be issues, and they proved to be right

In the same interview, Badshah mentioned that Jasmine was from London and was born and brought up there. The singer further revealed that his parents predicted that there would be a lot of issues due to the cultural differences. Badshah stated that his ex-wife could not adapt to the cultural differences, and it became really messy, and they tried very hard to save their relationship. Badshah can be quoted as saying:

"She was born in London, she grew up there. My parents predicted that there would be problems. And that’s what happened. She could not adapt to the culture, and it got really messy. But both of us tried very hard to make it work."

Badshah talks about his perception of marriage

Going further in the interview, Badshah revealed that people have a lot of flawed concepts about marriages and weddings, but some modifications can be made. The singer shared that one needs to reach a strong maturity level to commit to something like marriage. Badshah shared that one should be sure about getting married, and then only they should commit to this. Otherwise, it's mere disrespect to the intuition of marriage. Badshah revealed:

"We get married too early, but of course, there are biological reasons. But you should get married if you’re extremely sure, otherwise you’re disrespecting the institution… To co-exist with someone with an opinion is a full-time job."

Badshah shared that his marriage with his ex-wife was not healthy for their kid

For the unversed, Badshah and his ex-wife, Jasmine are parents to their daughter, Jessemy Grace Masih Singh, who currently resides in London. In the podcast, Prakhar ke Pravacha, Badshah said that he and Jasmine tried their best to save their relationship, but it was unhealthy for their daughter, which is why they separated. Badshah further mentioned that he often gets to meet his kid rarely as she doesn't live here. The singer also added that his daughter isn't his fan, rather, she is a fan of K-pop band, Blackpink.
