Chandrika Dixit, also known as the viral, Vada Pav girl, has been constantly making news for one reason or the other. She is either sparking admiration for her Vada pav's taste or controversies over her actions and behaviour. The internet sensation is now a participant in the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss OTT 3, and we can't wait to see what she has in store for viewers. While we await for Chandrika to entertain in Bigg Boss OTT 3, we got our hands on a report that reveals her per-day income, and to say that we are shocked would be an understatement.
On the highly anticipated date of June 21, 2024, Chandrika Dixit made her grand appereance on the OTT screens, joining the ranks of the reality show, Bigg Boss OTT 3. Dressed in a stunning purple-hued embellished saree, she sported soft curls, a radiant makeup look, and peach-toned glossy lips. As the diva stepped into the reality show, she dropped a bombshell, revealing her daily earnings to her fellow housemates during a lively conversation. The revelation sparked a wave of curiosity among the audience, who were eager to know more about her life outside the show.

Chandrika talked to the BB OTT 3 housemates about her infamous 'bhandara' fight with the police. Amid the conversation, she dropped everyone's jaws (ours included) as she revealed that she earns Rs. 40,000 per day by selling Vada Pav on the streets of Delhi. Talking about people's reaction to the incident, Chandrika added:
"People are meant to comment. Kuch toh log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehna. People often comment on others' lives without knowing their stories and struggles."
In a conversation with the Indian Express, Chandrika added that she was offered Bigg Boss OTT 3 in May-April via mail. But she thought that someone was pranking her and that it was a fraud. So, she thought that its better to focus on her work and not deviate from her main source of income. In Chandrika's words:
"I was offered Bigg Boss in April-May through email, which I initially dismissed as a fraud! I thought it's better to focus on work and not on all these things which keep coming!"

Bigg Boss OTT is a spinoff of the OG Bigg Boss series telecasted on TV. The former is an OTT exclusive reality show, and Karan Johar hosted its first season. After its massive success, Salman Khan hosted the second season, and now, Anil Kapoor has taken over the responsibility.
