Karan Veer Mehra has been riding high off his recent win on the show, Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. The actor is now venturing into another reality TV programme as he joins Bigg Boss 18 as a contestant. After his entrance, the actor had a chat with host, Salman Khan, and revealed that he was nervous about how his personality would come across on the show. Karan Veer also gave Salman some insight into his personal life as he discussed relationships, breakups, and more.
After his entrance, Karan Veer indulged in a conversation with Salman that covered a lot of topics, including relationships. Sharing his thoughts on breakups specifically, Karan Veer told Salman:
“Jab breakup hota hai, dono ek dusre pe ilzaam lagate hain. Fir kuch saal baad ehsaas hota hai ke haan, meri bhi galti thi.”
While talking to Salman, Karan Veer also spoke about his own approach to relationships and said that he valued commitment. In a quick-witted quip, he said:

In conversation with Indian Express, Karan Veer Mehra elaborated on his motivation for joining Bigg Boss 18, and apparently, Salman had something to do with it. He said:
"The kind of fame and popularity this show exudes, and the reach it has, is why I wanted to be a part of it. Also, I have this fear that Salman sir would just turn around and say one day that he wouldn’t host the show anymore. So it’s better to be on the show when he is doing it."
For the unversed, Karan Veer Meha was married to Devika Mehra in 2009. However, the couple officially parted ways nine years later in 2018. Karan Veer tied the knot for a second time with Nidhi Seth in 2021, but the two split just two years later in 2023.
Allegedly, Karan Veer and Nidhi had a tumultuous relationship. Nidhi, who officially confirmed the divorce, claimed that the relationship was toxic. She alluded to “mental peace, respect for each other, honesty, and financial capability” being missing in the marriage. Nidhi even went so far as to refer to the marriage as “the biggest mistake” of her life.
