Of late, many reports pertaining to megastar, performing at Isha Ambani’s wedding, have been doing the rounds. The reports and gossips only proved to be true when shutterbugs captured glimpses of Beyoncé, while she left from the departure at Udaipur airport. And yesterday (November 09, 2018), we did catch a few glimpse of the power-packed performance! With the whole of internet flooding with clippings of Beyoncé performing, the families of the couple made sure that theirs is a wedding to remember! Also, don’t you want to know how much the star is charging for her one-night performance? A Gigwise.com report suggested that the American superstar was once paid $2 million (Rs 2 crore approximately), to perform at a private island for a New Year’s party. And if one can be at their bargaining best, the Halo star will stand by at a $1 million, but it’s not every day that you have such luck! A report had also suggested that Beyoncé will be in India, only for a day and specifically for the Ambani wedding, post which she will fly back today (December 10, 2018). The report suggested, “Beyoncé will be landing in Udaipur noon tomorrow and will be leaving back on Monday morning. She will be there for performing live at Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s wedding. We have also learnt exclusively that her own dance team consisting of 60 dancers have already arrived in Udaipur. Out of so many celebrities, why was only Beyoncé invited? A Filmfare report revealed the reason which could be read as, “Isha is a big fan of American singer Beyoncé which is why Mukesh Ambani decided to have the pop star perform at the Sangeet ceremony. Both Anand and Isha are super excited to have the celebrated singer perform at their wedding. Some of Bollywood stars will also be doing a special performance at Isha’s cocktail in Udaipur.”
Wasn’t she absolutely amazing? Apart from Beyonce, a number of Bollywood celebrities including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-Abhishek Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and his wife, Gauri Khan, Anant Ambani and his ‘not so rumoured anymore’ muse, Radhika Merchant, had all burnt the dance floor with their stupendous performances! A source revealed exclusively to us about the guest list, wherein the top-notches of the business industry will be gracing the occasion of Isha and Anand’s wedding. The source shared with us, “Global corporate leaders, including steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal, BP group chief executive Bob Dudley, 21st Century Fox CEO James Murdoch and Diageo CEO Ivan Menezes, among others, descended on Udaipur to attend the wedding festivities of the daughter of Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), along with politicians, Bollywood stars and other prominent personalities.” (Read On! Well, it is an Ambani wedding and the guest list and performers do not surprise us, just that it makes us work a little extra hard for our own dream wedding (*wink wink*)!
