We have heard many breakup stories because of fame in the enchanting world of Tinseltown. There had been many love stories, which didn't have a happy ending because of the fame and glamour of the industry. However, one actress that had left the entire world of glam and glitz for the sake of love is none other than Maine Pyaar Kiya fame, Bhagyashree, who had gotten instant success with her first film more than 30-years-ago. For all of us, the meaning of success is different. For some it might be achieving recognition at their work, for others, it might be owning a luxury car. And for Bhagyashree, her success was in seeing her 'happily ever after' with the love of her life, Himalay Dassani. After so many years of marital bliss, Bhagyashree still never fails to shower her love on her hubby, Himalay. She often shares snippets of her beautiful married life on her IG feed.

Recently, in an interview with The Times of India, Bhagyashree revealed that her fans had abused her hubby, Himalaya for whisking her away. The actress said, "Poor man, he must have been cursed by all the fans who were upset that he had whisked me away from Bollywood. Everyone used to abuse him; I think at that time only I loved him (smiles). But both of us were young and in love with each other. I understand now that it’s easy to give in to jealousy and not want your girlfriend or wife to be the cynosure of all eyes."
In the same interview, Bhagyashree also shared that she had refused Maine Pyaar Kiya seven times and it was the eighth time when she had said 'yes'. The actress said, "I actually told Soorajji (Sooraj Barjatya) that I didn’t want to work in films, a fact he couldn’t understand. The subject was beautiful and I liked what he narrated to me. But, at the end of it, when he wanted to know if I would do the film, I told him that despite liking the script, I wouldn’t be able to take it up. He returned to me seven times, with changes in the script to please me, and each time I would come up with a new excuse. But on the eighth time, I couldn’t make one up and gave my nod to the film." Talking about Bhagyashree and Himalay's love story, in an interview with Humans of Bombay, the actress had opened up on the same. She had shared they had went to school together — he was the naughtiest kid in class while she was always the class monitor. They would fight all the time and the rest of the class would have a blast! The duo was like Yin and Yang — the more they used to fight, the more it became clear that they couldn’t be apart. Bhagyashree had further said, "We never dated though…he never even told me how he felt until the last day of school. He said, ‘I have to tell you something’ and then for one week he kept trying to say it but would always back out. Finally, I went upto him and said, ‘look, just say it…I’m sure the answer will be positive’ and that’s when he told me he liked me."

She had further added, "I come from a very conservative family, so even after that while we were in college, we would barely meet or talk on the phone. When I told my parents about him, they thought we were too young to decide something like this, and I believed as well that if he really loved me, we should be apart for some time — he should explore, know that I’m the one and then we could be together. So we did break up when he went away to the US to study, and that’s when I signed Maine Pyar Kiya."
