The actress belongs to a royal Marathi family. She is a Patwardhan from a royal Marathi family of Sangli and her father is the Raja of Sangli. The actress had tied the knot with Bollywood actor, Himalaya Dasani back in the year, 1990 and the couple is blessed with a son, Abhimanyu Dasani and a daughter, Avantika Dasani. The doting mother never skips a chance to share some of her most memorable pictures with her fans on Instagram. This time, the actress shared a throwback picture from her son, Abhimanyu's first birthday and it brings back all the golden memories of that era.
On February 11, 2021, Bollywood actress, Bhagyashree took to her Instagram handle and shared an unseen picture with her son, Abhimanyu from his first birthday party, as she starts his birthday countdown. In the picture, the ever-so-gorgeous actress looked breathtakingly beautiful in her baby pink coloured saree and can be seen posing with her baby prince, Abhimanyu, who looked nothing less than a bundle of happiness in his white and blue outfit. Along with the picture, the doting mommy, Bhagyashree penned a caption, and it can be read as "#throwbackthursday #onceuponatime Its the birthday countdown for @abhimanyud. This pic was taken on the occasion of his first birthday. In an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, her son, Abhimanyu Dassani had talked about spending most of the lockdown with his parents at home. The young actor had revealed, "My mom (actress Bhagyashree) was happy that I was spending time at home. But now, even my family has had enough of me." He had also revealed that he is quite good at cooking and his culinary skills came as a rescue during the lockdown. Stating how he had cooked some meals for his mom, the actor had shared, "I cook once every two days, and mom really enjoys it. She doesn't tell me to cook, but just says, 'I want to eat pasta today,' and that is my cue." Bhagyashree's son, Abhimanyu had made his Bollywood debut with the film, Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota and had won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. In an interview with Pinkvilla's Dear Mom, Bhagyashree had opened up about leaving stardom to raise her kids. Bhagyashree had graced the show with her son, Abhimanyu and when she was asked whether leaving movies was a difficult decision for her and she had replied, "Yes, and no. It was a tough call because I had realised that I do enjoy acting and I was like I wish I had the possibility of managing both. But no, because he just took over my life. My entire focus and happiness had him with me. At that point, it was not a tough choice. All that I wanted to do was spend time with him."
