Famous Indian comedian, Bharti Singh hopped onto the forever journey with the love of his life, Haarsh Limbachiyaa back in 2017. After a few years of marital bliss, the duo welcomed their little one, Laksh. Time and again, Bharti has opened up about her pregnancy journey and revealed some unheard anecdotes. Bharti lost her father when she was only two years old, and she fought like a queen to establish herself in the industry. Recently, the comedian revealed that she wants her son to be hard-working and earn his own money.

Bharti Singh wants her son to work in coffee shops or stores

Bharti Singh recently sat for an interview with the TOI, wherein she revealed that she wants her son, Golla, to do his studies, and along with it, she wants him to work even in a coffee shop and store and earn his own money. She mentioned that she doesn't want that Golla gets everything easily just because his parents are celebrities. She also stated that she had seen all of these foreign cultures, wherein everyone has to work on their own. Bharti said:

"Main chahti hoon ki mera bachcha agar padh raha hai na toh baad main kisi coffee shop ya store main kaam kare. Apna kharcha paani nikale. Aisa nahi ki Bharti ka beta hai ya Harsh ka beta hai toh isko toh mil hi jayega. Nahi, main chahti hoon ki voh kare. Maine suna tha foreign main aisa culture hai ki bachche kamaate bhi hain. Toh Gole, ready rehna.”

In the same interview, Bharti mentioned that she had reached such a position in her career because she had determination, and that is why she emphasises the importance of hard-earned money. She recalled the days of her poverty and shared how her life had been when she witnessed her siblings carry heavy blankets and stitch them. Bharti said her mom stitched dupattas, and even now, she hates the sound of the machine and the smell of the blanket. In Bharti's words:

"My focus was always poverty. I was two years old when my father passed away. My brothers and sisters gave up their jobs. They worked in a factory. They carried heavy blankets, blankets that we could never have used. They stitched them night after night. Sometimes my mother would stitch dupattas. I still hate the smell of those blankets and the sound of the machine. I have seen enough poverty with my family and I don’t want to see it anymore.”

In the same interview, Bharti walked down the memory lane and mentioned that her mom used to clean toilets to support their house. The comedian added that she used to see people throwing half-eaten apples in the dustbin, and she would think to collect it and eat it. Bharti can be quoted as saying:

"Log aadha apple khaakar kachre mein phenk dete the to mujhe lagta tha ise paap chadhega. Wo dustbin mein phenk dete the to main sochti thi ye nikaal ke wo aadha bacha hissa kaat ke khaa lun.”

In Debina Bonnnerjee's podcast earlier, Bharti Singh talked about her birth story. She shared that she would never disturb anyone during her pregnancy as she had grown up seeing her mom, who also never caused any problems for anybody during the same phase. The comedian then recalled her birth story and stated how her mom had called a dai ma and gave her Rs. 60 to cut her umbilical cord.

Bharti Singh said she was partying and drinking beer before her pregnancy test

In another interview with the TOI, Bharti Singh mentioned that she was busy partying and drinking alcohol, and suddenly, she found a pregnancy test kit. The comedian added that she thought of taking a test, and the next morning, the reports came as positive. Bharti shared that she told it to Haarsh, who was in disbelief, and later on, she called Kapil Sharma's wife too. Bharti added that she went to a doctor then, and got to know that she was seven weeks pregnant.
