Tishaa Kumar, daughter of Tanya Singh and Krishan Kumar, passed away on July 18, 2024, due to a prolonged illness. The sad and untimely demise of the 20-year-old left everyone in shock. It was speculated that Tishaa passed away due to cancer diagnosis, but now her mother, Tanya, revealed that her daughter did not have cancer, but the reason for her death was something completely different. For the unversed, Tishaa is T-series CEO, Bhushan Kumar's cousin sister, and she unfortunately passed away at the mere age of 20.
Tishaa Kumar's untimely demise at such a young age left everyone emotional, and people couldn't decipher how a young soul like her could pass away at such a young age. While it was earlier reported that Tishaa had cancer, her mother now revealed that Tishaa died due to misdiagnosis. Sharing details of the reason of her death, Tishaa added:
"The ‘truth’ is that my daughter did not have ‘cancer’ to begin with. She had a vaccine at age 15&1/2 which possibly triggered an autoimmune situation, which was wrongly diagnosed (we did not know this at the time). Parents, if, God forbid your child just has ‘lymph node swellings’- PLEASE make sure to get a second & third opinion before going in for a ‘bone-marrow’ test or a biopsy. Lymph nodes are the body’s defence guards & they can also swell due to emotional trauma, etc, or due to a previous infection not treated fully. We were already sucked into the ‘medical trap’ much before all this information found us."
Tanya shared that Tishaa never had cancer, but doctors mistreated her. Sharing deets, Tanya added that Tishaa had a vaccine at 15, which triggered an autoimmune situation, which was later misdiagnosed as cancer. Tisha got treatment for cancer when she did not even have the disease. Tanya urged all the other parents to get a second or even third opinion before getting the treatment done.
In the same post, Tanya shared that Tisha's body succumbed to the side effects of chemo and biomedicine. However, her daughter was very brave and never once gave up hope. Tishaa did not let the medical diagnosis scare her and bravely fought with this. She always spread joy and kindness and was the coolest 20-year-old out there. In Tanya's words:
"She has been the bravest version of brave, the most fearless and cool 20year old ever, and that’s what TISHAA wanted to spread to kids her age/ younger/older, how to ‘not’ let medical diagnosis etc scare you coz she knew that the body is a biological being for whom immunity is key and she wanted to help spread the word through her experience of overcoming a misdiagnosis,& dealing with ‘chemo SIDE EFFECTS‘ with BIOMEDICINE. TISH always spread love, joy courage and kindness with all around."
Tishaa Kumar, born to Krishan Kumar and his wife, Tanya Singh on September 6, 2003, was a very private individual. She valued her personal space and, hence, was rarely seen in public. Her last public appearance was on November 30, 2023, at the premiere of Ranbir Kapoor's film, Animal, accompanied by her father, Krishan. She was T-series, CEO, Bhushan Kumar's cousin sister.
