Bigg Boss 17 is undoubtedly the most entertaining reality TV show on the run right now. The show is leaving no stone unturned to entertain its viewers with its daily dose of drama and controversy. With a new day, a new set of drama unfolds, and this time, the press themselves have gone into the house and shaken the housemates, and bashed them for all their wrong deeds.
The journalists have entered the BB house to grill the contestants, and even Abhishek Kumar wasn’t spared from their wrath. One of the many journalists pointed out that Abhishek has previously defended physical violence against women, and now, in the case of Munawar and Ayesha, he yet again gave a free pass to cheating. For the unversed, Munawar was already in a relationship with Naxila when he approached Ayesha and gave her false hopes of love. Returning to Abhishek, the actor here was seen trying to defend himself by saying that he was attempting to console Munawar as he was very low after Ayesha entered the show.

He added that people make mistakes, and everyone can mistakenly cheat or hit a woman. The journalist immediately schooled him and said that cheating and hitting aren’t something that should be normalised, even when done by mistake. Abhishek countered that what’s done is done, and one should not bring up past mistakes.

In the same press session, Abhishek revealed that he called Isha before coming to Bigg Boss and urged her to refrain from bringing their past into the show. However, Isha did bring up the past incidents, and by the 8th week, he decided to fight back, which is why he started fighting with her. For those who are not aware, Isha and Abhishek were previously in a relationship, and both claimed it to be highly toxic to the extent that even physical violence was a part of it.

However, later in the show, Abhishek slapped another contestant but was given a second chance. The media questions his hypocrisy as when the violence charge was against someone else, he asked BB to take action against them, but when it involved him, he requested forgiveness and for a second chance.
