Bigg Boss is one of the longest-running reality shows in India. It was on November 3, 2006, when the first-ever episode of the show’s first season was aired on television. Since then, it has been 17 years and every year, the makers of Bigg Boss have delivered a season full of entertainment and controversies.
Over the years, we have seen different celebrities hosting this iconic reality show, telecasting networks being changed, and new worthy winners in every season. But two things are still the same, even after so many years. Well, we are talking about the voices of this show, the voice of Bigg Boss, which are still the same as it was back in the first season of this show.

Whenever someone searches on Google ‘who is the voice of Bigg Boss’ in order to know about the person, who voice is being heard during the show as Bigg Boss, interestingly, instead of one, the search results display two names, Atul Kapoor and Vijay Vikram Singh. Well, Atul Kapoor is the one, whose voice we hear most of the time during announcements or when the Bigg Boss is in conversation with the contestants. For instance, when Bigg Boss says, “Bigg Boss chahate hain”, that is Atul Kapoor’s voice.
Moving forward, the second voice that we often hear in Bigg Boss is of famous dubbing artist, Vijay Vikram Singh. Whenever the time gets mentioned in the show, it is in the voice of Vijay. For instance, “11 January, raat 8 bjy”, these sorts of lines related to time are dubbed from Vijay. Other than that, we often hear Vijay’s voice whenever the narration about a previous event happens on the show.

The famous dubbing artist, Atul Kapoor was born on December 28, 1966, in Lucknow and has been in the voice-over industry for almost 31 years. He is a graduate of the prestigious Lucknow University. Atul has given voices to so many memorable characters in a series of Hollywood films. However, he gained immense fame and recognition after giving voice to Bigg Boss.
The narrator of the show, Bigg Boss, Vijay Vikram Singh is as famous as Atul Kapoor, as people often confuse between the two. Talking about his background, Vijay was born on November 26, 1977, in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Before becoming a renowned voice-over artist, Vijay was working at an MNC as a Business Development Manager. However, a compliment from a lady about his voice made him think about whether he could really become a voice-over artist or not.

In order to try his luck, he joined 92.7 Big FM as a Business Development Manager, where he observed and learnt a lot of things about voice modulation. After a period of time, he got his big break as a voice-over artist with the show, Dance India Dance, and since then, he has been a part of the dubbing industry. From running a show on the radio to giving his voice in so many reality shows, Vijay came a long way in his career as a dubbing artist.
According to multiple reports, the famous dubbing artist, Atul Kapoor earns Rs. 50 lakhs per season for giving his voice to Bigg Boss.

The narrator of the show, Bigg Boss, Vijay Vikram Singh reportedly earns a sum of Rs. 10-20 lakhs per season. Although the correct amount isn’t available anywhere on the internet, some sources still reported that he received Rs. 10-12 lakhs per season since the show’s first season in 2006.
