Bipasha Basu's daughter, Devi is a blessing that the gorgeous Bengali girl asked from Mata Durga. Once Bipasha revealed that she and her husband, Karan Singh Grover were trying to embrace parenthood, but they got lucky after they visited Vaishno Devi temple in Katra, Jammu. It is one of the reasons why she kept her baby girl's name 'Devi'.
On the occasion of Subhu Ashtami, Bipasha Basu took her daughter, Devi, to the Durga Puja pandal to make her witness the magic of Maa Durga and seek her blessings. The little girl looked super pretty in a red lehenga with golden border on the hem. The little girl also carried a matching dupatta. However, it was her cutesy hairstyle that made her look on point.
In the video that has been doing rounds, Devi cutely greeted the paps with a namaskar on her mommy, Bipasha's instruction. While her mom was in awe, her father, Karan Singh Grover, adorably watched his little baby girl. In another glimpse, we can see Devi sitting in her mommy, Bipasha's lap, as they clicked the picture together with Tanisha Mukerji. However, Devi was busy making new friends in another little girl.

On August 17, 2023, Bipasha took to her Instagram handle and posted a video of Devi with her daddy, Karan Singh Grover. The family was lying on the bed with lights off, and we can see Karan reciting Hanuman Chalisa to his daughter. For those who don't know, Hanuman Chalisa is a powerful verse written by Tulsidas, in which there are praises of the Hindu's mighty lord, Hanuman. Sharing the video, Bipasha wrote:
"Bedtime Rituals. Papa , Mamma & Devi."

During a conversation with Neha Dhupia, Bipasha spoke about her journey in the first forty days after giving birth to Devi, when they got to know about two holes in her heart. She revealed that she was sleepless for the first forty days of Devi's birth. Out of 15 days, she was all alone with her as her husband, Karan Singh Grover, was away for a film shoot. Bipasha also revealed that she didn't let her family meet the baby.

Bipasha, who conceived Devi via IVF, revealed that her family thought she had gone weird after the birth of her baby girl, but she was protecting her. She was quoted as saying:
"First 40 days 40 nights, I didn't sleep for a second. It took me 40 days to process it, accept it, understand what is going on after giving birth. Out of those, 15 days Karan was not in the city with me because he had a film which he tried to back out from but he couldn't. I was alone, I didn't tell my family. She wasn't allowed to meet anyone with cold and cough, my whole family had viral at that time. I didn't let anyone meet Devi. Everyone thought why I had gone weird, but I was being fiercely protective about my daughter."
