Happy birthday, Sushant Singh Rajput! The Kedarnath actor celebrates his 34th birthday today and there’s no better time than this to look back onto his journey from being an engineering student to a Bollywood star. Sushant was born in Saharsa, a small district of Bihar and situated in the banks of Koshi River. Not many people know this but Sushant was an extremely talented student in both his school and college. Sushant had ranked seventh in DCE Entrance Exam back in 2003 and secured a seat for himself in the Bachelor of engineering course and opted for mechanical engineering (Mechanical students feeling inspired?). While he was in DCE, the actor was indulged in theatre and dance that started costing his studies. After some time, when he saw his numbers dropping deep, the actor realised that he wants to become an actor. After which, he was dropped out of DCE at the end of his third year and the first thing he did was, join Shaimak Davar’s dance academy in Mumbai after which he started a whole new journey to become an actor. Sushant is known for following the footsteps of Shah Rukh Khan, as he got into the Television industry first before trying his luck in Bollywood. And, there’s no denying the fact that the little trick worked out for him as he got his first break in 2009 as a supporting actor in a serial titled, Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil. Years passed and the actor impressed everyone with his acting skills and it was Ekta Kapoor’s popular television show, Pavitra Rishta that cemented his position as one of the biggest stars of the television industry. The hard work finally paid off when he got his first break in Bollywood in the hit-film, Kai Po Che and since then there’s simply no looking back for the actor.
Sushant Singh has already made a name for himself in Bollywood after working in some outstanding films like Kai Po Che, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kedarnath, and Chhichhore. Well, taking a breather from his professional life and talking about his personal life, according to various reports, Sushant is in a relationship with Rhea Chakraborty. So far nothing has been said from the side of the two stars about their relationship. However, the Jalebi actress, Rhea wishes Sushant on Instagram with two cute pictures of the two together, along with a caption that reads, "Happy birthday to the most beautiful ” supermassive black hole that is known to mankind ! Shine on you crazy diamond #boywithagoldenheart #rheality" Take a look at the pictures shared by Rhea.
Also, according to a recent report from SpotboyE, the actor is looking for a new home with rumoured girlfriend, Rhea in Mumbai. The reason for this house-hunting is the fact that Rhea’s landlord has some issues with Sushant’s stay in her home. That’s why the rumoured couple is planning to live-in together in a home in Mumbai. Sushant and Rhea’s dating rumours are grabbing the headlines since he broke up his alleged affair with Kedarnath’s co-star, Sara Ali Khan. The biggest reason why these rumours of Sushant dating Rhea are everywhere is the fact that last year, the two were in Paris at the same time. Both of them were enjoying their vacations in Paris and didn’t upload a single picture with each other. But, none of the pictures or videos shared by them shows them unitedly. However, in an interview with RJ Sidharth Kanan, the actor was asked about his relationship status and the actor had answered it quite smartly (engineering student!) and said, "I have studied in an engineering college and yet I became a hero. It is not sheer luck, I must have planned a lot about it all. So the secret behind all this is that I will take a lot of money for answering truly a personal question like this. It will take a kaand (huge/big) magazine and a lot of money, I need to at least feature on the cover, apart from the money before I tell the truth whether or not I am single.”
However, the Drive actor, also added in the same interview that he had to ask from that somebody first if he can open up about that or not. Sushant added saying, "If you ask me any question that has to do with me, I can say it. If I was seeing somebody, I’d have to ask that somebody. Probably your question, if well-founded, will help me insinuate it to the other person to know what to say next time. And probably when you put me on the cover next time, I’ll say it.” Back to professional front, the actor is going to be seen next in Mukesh Chhabra’s Dil Bechara, the film is based on the John Green’s famous novel, The Fault In Our Stars and will be seen opposite debutante, Sanjana Sanghi.
