The Bishnoi Community Burns Salman Khan And Salim's Effigies Over The Latter's Misleading Statement

Salman Khan has been threatened by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, and the same was escalated after the former's friend, Baba Siddique's demise. In the meantime, Salman's father, Salim Khan shared that Baba Siddique's death was not linked to Salman Khan. For the unversed, Salim also revealed that Salman was innocent when asked about the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, wherein the actor is held as the main accused by the Bishnoi Community. Thus, Salim's statement angered the Bishnoi community, and they started protesting against the same.

On October 27, 2024, the members of the Bishnoi community gathered in Jaipur and reportedly held out a protest against Salim Khan and Salman Khan. Not only this, but reports are also rife that Salim and Salman's effigies were burned. In a statement, the group said that they are Bishnoi, and they don't defame anyone. 

Bishnoi community reveals being hurt by Salim Khan's 'misleading statement'

The group further claimed that when the blackbuck poaching case was registered 26 years back, several dignitaries, including the then MLA of the Bishnoi community were present there, and now Salim Khan cannot mislead people with his statements. Stating that they are hurt by Salim Khan's statement and will make efforts until justice is served, the Bishnoi gang said in a media statement:

"We are Bishnois, we do not defame anyone just like that. When the case was registered 26 years ago, many dignitaries including the then MLA of the Bishnoi community were present. Salim Khan cannot mislead people by giving false statements. The entire community was hurt by Salim Khan's statement. We will make all-out efforts to ensure justice was delivered in the Blackbuck case. We will also protest by taking to the streets."

The members of the Bishnoi gang further questioned why the superstar had to hire lawyers from all over the country if he was innocent in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. The members further mentioned that Lawrence Bishnoi is a part of their community, and if Salman Khan doesn't come forward, then the Sanatan Hindu Samaj would possibly start a movement against him.

Salim Khan, in an interview with ABP Live shared that Baba Siddique's demise was not linked to Salman Khan. He also added that Salman was innocent in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case as he didn't kill any animal. On the other hand, the Bishnoi gang held the actor as the main accused of the case.

Lawrence Bishnoi's brother, Ramesh dismissed Salim Khan's tags of them of being 'greedy'

In an interview back in 2023, Lawrence Bishnoi revealed that the entire Bishnoi Gang felt insulted when Salman killed a blackbuck. In a follow-up statement, Lawrence's brother, Ramesh shared that they were offered a blank cheque by Salman, and he asked them to fill in the amount that they would need, which the actor would pay. Ramesh further mentioned that their blood was boiling on this, and if they were hungry for money, then they could stop it right there. Thus, the claims of them being greedy are not at all true.
