Their fast-paced romance might seem odd. However, the couple were friends for a long time before they gave in to the undeniable chemistry they shared. It has been a decade since the duo got married, and they are going strong as ever. The couple has welcomed four kids since then.

While Blake was dating her Gossip Girl co-star, Penn Badgley, Ryan was married to actress, Scarlett Johansson. Later, in September 2013, Blake appeared for an interview with Lucky. During the interview, she opened up about her marriage and shared:
"I was recently asked how my style has changed since I got married as if I was living under some sort of dictatorship. I'm very lucky to be with someone who has better taste than me. We influence each other in different ways."

"Next thing you know, she was going to Boston, I was going to Boston and I said, ‘Well, I'll ride with you.’ We got on the train and we rode together. I was just begging her to sleep with me. Back in 2016, Ryan did an interview for GQ’s December cover, where he was asked when he knew Lively was the one. Ryan joked and at first shared that it was the intimacy they shared. However, later, he revealed how the real events turned out. He revealed that they were hanging out in a restaurant in Tribeca, and he asked Blake to dance with him, and the rest was history.
In October 2014, the actress revealed that she is expecting her first child with Ryan. In January 2015, the couple's eldest daughter, James, was born. The name of their third child's name, Betty, appeared on Taylor Swift's album, Folklore. Blake announced they were expecting their third child in September 2022 and welcomed their first boy, who arrived in February 2023. Ryan revealed the name of his son, Olin, during the NYC premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine on July 22, 2024.
In August 2021, Ryan appeared for an interview with SiriusXM. The Daily Mail reported that the couple had implicitly entrusted Taylor Swift with sharing their youngest daughter, Betty's name. Reflecting on their decision, Ryan shared that they thought it was amazing, and they still stick by it. He also shared how surprised he and Blake were when they heard the song for the first time.
Blake and Ryan are known for taking a jab at each other on social media. Fans love their online interactions. Their goofy posts always had their fans looped, and on Christmas of 2015, Reynold gave his fans just that with a post on his Instagram sharing Blake's gift to him, a 'Deadpool' doll holding a chimichanga while riding a Unicorn dress in leather chaps.
We saw another interaction between the couple in May 2018 when Blake was promoting her upcoming film, A Simple Favor. Ryan took to his X account, asking his wife for the answers to the film's mysteries. However, this time, Blake took the cake and responded with a funny remark, saying that out of all the secrets she had kept, this should be the least of Ryan's worries.
