Son of veteran actor, Dharmendra, and younger brother of Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol made every girl go weak in her knees with his debut film, Barsaat. He proved his mettle in acting with films like Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya, Kareeb, Gupt: The Hidden Truth, Bichhoo, and a few others.
Bobby Deol shares a very warm bond with his father, Dharmendra and his brother, Sunny Deol. However, there was a time when Bobby was rebellious and distanced himself from his family. The handsome actor admitted the same in a throwback interview and stated how he isolated himself from his family.

Sharing details about his strained relationship with his father, Bobby mentioned that by the time he turned 18, he turned rebellious and avoided everyone. Elaboration on the same, Bobby said:
“I went to the disco for the first time at the age of 18. After that, a rebel was born inside me. For years, I kept avoiding everything from my parents. I used to ignore my father’s words. Even though he used to explain things to me only for my own good, I had become blind and I was determined not to listen and listen to his words. This was the time when my and father’s relationship was going through the worst phase.”
The whole tension in the Deol family started when Dharmendra got married for the second time to actress, Hema Malini. Dharmendra was already married to Prakash Kaur, and the couple had four children, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Ajeeta Deol and Vijeeta Deol. Despite it, the actor had married Hema Malini and had converted his religion to Islam so that he could keep his two marriages. And with Hema Malini, Dharmendra has two daughters, Esha and Ahana.

In a throwback interview with Hindustan Times, Bobby talked about his relationship with his dad, Dharmendra and his childhood days. Revealing how he missed his father's presence at home, Bobby stated:
"I used to miss having him at home. Sometimes he would take me to shoot locations but even then, he would be busy. He would literally be working round the clock, so that he could build a lovely empire for us. He would even sleep on sets."
Bobby got married to the love of his life, Tania Ahuja in 1996. The couple embraced parenthood for the first time in 2002 and welcomed their son, Aryaman Deol. They had welcomed their second son in November 2004 and named him Dharam after his grandfather.
