Getting hurt is an inevitable part of loving someone. But what hurts the most is when after promising a lifetime of togetherness, your other half leaves you for the heavenly abode and you are left here, grieving the pain. And Bollywood filmmaker, Boney Kapoor felt the same pain when his wife, Sridevi passed away in a tragic change of events. It not only trembled the whole Kapoor parivaar, but it also left a huge void in the filmmaker's life. Sridevi's death had left the entire nation in shock. Earlier, in an interview with the PTI, he had talked about life after Sridevi and had shared that he feels the loss of her every second of his life and he is forced to live with it. And we all agree, destiny snatched away the legendary superstar from us sooner than anybody can expect. While the days and years will pass on, the pain she had left can never be healed. And it is quite evident in Boney and his children, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor's millions of interviews and events.
Yesterday, on December 1, 2019, Boney Kapoor had attended his wife, Sridevi's book launch. However, the whole ceremony had brought back all the memories of the dark times when Boney had lost Sridevi. In the pictures and the videos that have been doing the rounds, we can see an emotional Boney Kapoor breaking down remembering his late wife and Deepika Padukone (who was the guest of honour) was consoling him. Take a look at the pictures and video below:
A couple of months ago, Boney Kapoor had made an appearance on Komal Nahta’s show and broke down remembering his one true love. Speaking of how a wife completes a home and helps fight the world outside, he had said, “If you don't have support at home, by at home I mean your wife, with that support you can do anything.” When he was further asked if there is a moment of not missing Sridevi, the emotional Boney had stated, “Namumkin hai!” (Recommended Read: Yuvraj Singh Shares A Cute Wish For His 'Biwi', Hazel Keech On Their Third Wedding Anniversary)
In another interview with SpotboyE, Boney had talked in length about his four children and had shared, “As I said, I am blessed to have these four. They love each other a lot and I am glad that they have come together. It was due to happen anytime, it just happened when something unfortunate happened. They are all my blood and they had to come around. I give credit to all four, but yes, more to Arjun because he is the eldest. He flew into Dubai to be with me. Anshula was in Mumbai with Janhvi and Khushi. They have happened through two different mothers but why should they get affected? They need their father now, and I am going to be around them.”

Boney had once said in a media interaction that it was Sridevi's innocence that touched her. He had revealed, “She's an introvert and doesn't communicate very easily with strangers and I was one at that point in time. But the few words she spoke, in broken Hindi and English, they touched me they moved me and I was curious to know her more. Gradually, she saw the man is too persistent and perhaps realized I was sincere and not looking for, what do I say, a fling. Little things made an impact on her and here I am as her husband today.” (Recommended Read: Kunal Kemmu Shares An Adorable Picture Of His Two Leading Ladies, Soha Ali Khan And Inaaya)
