For some people festivals are all about bringing the family together, making friends and celebrating the very spirit of mankind but for some, they are also about traditions and rituals. We cannot imagine a life without festivals! Some family rituals that we incorporate into our lives, help us gather some lifetime memories that we cherish forever. Just like many other Indians, B-town celebrities too, celebrated Diwali on November 7, 2018, but for Sridevi’s family, this festival wasn’t the same without her sparkle. Sridevi and her family reflected the familial values and she was the perfect homemaker who made sure her family had the best time when together. Sridevi and her husband, Boney Kapoor never failed to make us all go ‘awww’ over them with their romantic gestures and love for each other. In one Diwali picture from the year 2008, Boney can be seen feeding (a customary dish of paneer in their Diwali, which they fed each other) his wife, Sridevi and it perfectly reflects the love between this couple.

And now 10 years later, Boney and his daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor observed this festival cherishing the memories of late Sridevi. On Diwali 2018, Khushi clicked a picture of her father, Boney feeding Janhvi at the dining table in their house, reminding us of the above picture of Boney and Sridevi. This picture reflects the void and will surely make your eyes moist. Take a look at the picture:
Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s eldest daughter, Janhvi has bravely coped up with the irreplaceable loss in their lives with the help of the entire Kapoor clan and her step-siblings, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor. In an interview with SpotboyE, Boney shared his conversation with Sridevi after watching a few scenes of Janhvi’s first film, Dhadak. He had stated, “Sri and I had seen quite a few scenes much before we left for Dubai. We were in the car and I asked her what she thinks of her. She said that I should answer that question first. I replied: The good thing about her is she is not in awe of you.”
Speaking about the first time he came to know that his eldest son, Arjun wants to pursue acting, Boney was quoted as saying, “I wouldn't say that I motivated Janhvi. I encouraged her to let her do what she wants. Why curb someone's natural instincts? Like for one, I didn't know until Salman (Khan) told me that Arjun has it in him to become an actor.” Further talking about his other children, Anshula and Khushi, he remarked, “On the other hand, my eldest child, Anshula is extremely academically inclined. And Khushi first wanted to become a model- but has now shifted her focus to becoming an actress.” (Also Read: Janhvi Kapoor Is All Praises For Half-Brother Arjun Kapoor, Says That He Is 'Just Like Boney Kapoor')

Sharing that people come up to him and say that all his four children, Arjun, Anshula, Janhvi and Khushi are well brought-up, the proud father elaborated, “She (Janhvi) is a very warm, affectionate child with proper netiquettes. All those who have interacted with her tell me that. I am fortunate that people have to say such good things about all my four children- they say that they have been very well brought up.”
When asked if Janhvi is more like him or Sridevi, Boney retorted, “She's got good points from both of us. Also, she has her own individuality. She knows what she wants to do and what she doesn't want to do. And, I respect that. Everything will be discussed at home but the final decision will be her's.”
Finally concluding with the feeling of being blessed to have his four children together, he shared, “As I said, I am blessed to have these four. They love each other a lot and I am glad that they have come together. It was due to happen anytime, it just happened when something unfortunate happened. They are all my blood and they had to come around. I give credit to all four, but yes, more to Arjun because he is the eldest. He flew in to Dubai to be with me. Anshula was in Mumbai with Janhvi and Khushi. They have happened through two different mothers but why should they get affected? They need their father now, and I am going to be around them.” (Also Read: Arjun Kapoor Reveals Why He And Anshula Are There For Boney, Janhvi And Khushi, Post Sridevi's Death)
