Boney Kapoor is one of the most eminent filmmakers in Tinseltown. He has served some blockbuster films at the box-office, such as Mr. India, Judaai, No Entry, Woh 7 Din, Hum Paanch among others. Son of eminent filmmaker, Surinder Kapoor, Boney was first married to his wife, Mona Shourie, and the duo was blessed with a son, Arjun and a daughter, Anshula. After his divorce with Mona, Boney then went onto tie the knot with Sridevi, and the duo was blessed with two daughters, Janhvi and Khushi. And recently, Boney talked about the film career recorded by his firstborn, Arjun Kapoor.
In an interaction with the New India, Boney Kapoor spilt beans on the career graph of his firstborn, Arjun Kapoor. For the unversed, the latter made his debut in 2012 with the film, Ishaqzaade. Thereafter, he appeared in a number of films, including 2 States, Gunday, Ki & Ka, Half Girlfriend, Tevar, Panipat and others. Speaking about his son, Arjun’s career graph so far in Bollywood, Boney revealed that the former hasn’t reached his peak yet. Moreover, he mentioned that Arjun is still awaiting a life-changing characterization in films. In his words:
“Every man's career has its own journey. And perhaps, I don't think he has reached his peak. Definitely, I am there, and I will be doing that. There are three subjects I have lined up for him. He is happy with those subjects, and he is on the threshold of a new kind of characterization.”

In a previous interview with the Film Companion, Arjun Kapoor spoke about his father’s decision to divorce his mother, Mona Shourie and thereafter tied the knot with Sridevi. He revealed that although he understands that his father fell in love with someone else, however, he was still not okay with it, as he had to face the repercussions of his father’s decision. He mentioned:
“It's about compatibility, there is friendship, there is saturation. There is unfortunate frustration, people go through different phases in life. You could have been in love with somebody, and you can fall in love with somebody after that, and that has to be understood. I don't agree... I can't say I'm okay with what my father did, because as a child I felt the repercussions, but I understand it.”
Unfortunately, Boney Kapoor suffered an ill fate at love, since both his ex-wife, Mona Shourie as well as his beloved, Sridevi passed away in a tragic turn of events. Currently, the filmmaker is living a peaceful life with all his four children, Arjun, Anshula, Janhvi and Khushi. Speaking along the same lines, Arjun, in one of his earlier interactions with the Times Of India spoke about his father’s happiness on seeing all four of his kids gel well with one another. Moreover, he revealed that he was happy to see two more people care about his father, Boney Kapoor.
