An artist’s imagination knows no boundaries as it is a beautiful form of expression. It is said that a picture speaks a thousand words but it’s not easy for everyone to depict the meaning of the art. During the lockdown, while we were forced to stay confined to our homes to stay safe, we had a lot of time to explore our hobbies and brush up our skills. While some had turned into chefs, some had polished their dancing/singing skills. Like most of us, the Kapoor sisters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor too, have used their quarantine phase with the utmost productivity. With the declaration of worldwide pandemic in early 2020, the schools and colleges were shut, and most countries had followed the nationwide lockdown. Khushi Kapoor is studying at the New York Film Academy but had returned to India before the lockdown was announced. And it was her sister, Janhvi Kapoor, whose happiness knew no bounds. From jumping with joy and welcoming her home with the tightest hug to making goofy videos with each other, Janhvi and Khushi had made the most of their quarantine phase at home.
Father of four children, Boney Kapoor had proudly praised his daughters, Anshula Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor in a series of tweets on September 15, 2020. Beginning with his eldest one, Anshula, Boney had praised her for managing household chores and professional commitments in this difficult phase as her brother and his son, Arjun Kapoor had tested positive with the novel virus. Boney had tweeted, “Very Proud of my daughter Anshula who in these difficult times has taken care of Arjun during his quarantine, managing the house and also her social welfare platform Fankind.”
In his next series of tweets, Boney Kapoor flaunted Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor's paintings with pride and revealed how delighted he is to see his daughters’ lockdown artwork. Sharing two pieces of artwork by Janhvi, Boney wrote, “Delighted to see my daughter Janhvi’s creative urges during lockdown. This is her work.” And sharing three paintings by the youngest one, Khushi, Boney tweeted, “Happy to see Khushi’s creativity during lockdown.” Speaking of Janhvi and Khushi's painting hobby, Boney said in an interview with TOI, "Both, Janhvi and Khushi used to join Sridevi when she used to do her paintings, perhaps they first developed this art watching her. They have picked it up again now during lockdown." (Also Read: Rare Throwback Picture Of Sridevi Kapoor Twinning In White With Baby Janhvi Kapoor And Khushi Kapoor)

During the lockdown, Janhvi Kapoor had listed down things she had learnt in the self-isolation and speaking of how her father, Boney Kapoor misses her, she had written, “I’ve learned that my father misses me. Before lockdown, whenever he was home; he would wait for me and Khushi to come back from work or from meetings or from our friends houses to spend time with us. I would never see him wait. But when I wake up now and go across the hall and see him alone on the sofa smiling because he has us to himself whole day, I can picture him sitting in the same place waiting alone for us to come home.”
Speaking of how her late mother, Sridevi Kapoor’s dressing room still has her smell and how Khushi Kapoor is a cooler sister, Janhvi Kapoor had written, “I’ve learnt that there are many hours in the day. I’ve learnt that I can still smell my mother in her dressing room. I’ve learnt that I’m a better painter in my head than in real life. I’ve learnt that Khushi is definitely the cooler sister. I’ve learnt that I have the funniest friends in the world.” (Also Read: Khushi Kapoor Starts Modelling As She Strikes A Classy Pose For Sister Turned Photographer, Janhvi)
