'Ginny And Georgia' Star Brianne Howey Pregnant With Baby No. 2 With Matt, Inside Their Relationship

Brianne Howey is having one of the best Mother's Days ever as she dropped a big announcement on her social media. The Ginny & Georgia star revealed that she and her husband, Matt Ziering, are expecting their second baby. No sooner did she announce the news than it left fans in a frenzy.

On Sunday, May 10, 2026, Brianne Howey took to her Instagram to announce that she and her husband, Matt Ziering of nearly five years are about to welcome their second child. She posted a photo of herself cradling her growing baby bump in the mirror while sporting a yellow strapless dress with the caption, "Here we grow again. Happy Mother's Day!"

The comment section of Brianne's post was filled with not only congratulatory messages from her fans but also some of her Ginny & Georgia costars. Congratulating her on the newest addition to her family, Chelsea Clark wrote, "Wow, congrats!!!!!" Following this, Antonia Gentry left a few emojis under the post. It is worth noting that Ginny & Georgia showrunner, Debra J. Fisher, also congratulated the actress by writing, "Baby two looks good on you," followed by a yellow heart emoji. 

It is worth noting that Brianne Howey shared the happy news almost a year after she confessed that her first child and becoming a mom helped her better understand her character on the much-loved Netflix comedy-drama. Talking about the same during a 2025 interview with People, Brianne stated: 

"Prior to having a child, of course, I thought many of the Georgia-isms were absolutely insane and unhinged and over the top, and why is she taking up so much space? Now that I have a child, I am so obsessed with her that I understand why Georgia is so obsessed with Ginny, and my heart only got bigger, and I just have even more respect for all the moms out there.”

Furthermore, for her 2025 Netflix movie, Kinda Pregnant, Brianne also decided to use her real-life birth stories in one of the scenes. In an interview with DC Film Girl, she revealed that it was Amay Schumer who called her up and suggested that she do the scene. She said:

"Amy [Schumer] called me the night before and said, ‘Why is nobody talking about their birth stories?' So that's what we did. Then the next day, we went to set, and that's my real birth story, actually. So it was a really intimate, kind of in-the-moment, felt a little bit risky, but very safe at the same time because it was just me and Amy."

Fans of Brianne Howey might have seen her in a complex relationship in Netflix's Ginny & Georgia, but in real life, she is happily married to her husband, Matt Ziering. According to reports, Brianne first met Matt at a bar through their mutual friends. Before long, the duo began dating. In June 2025, during her appearance on Jenna and Friends, Brianne shared that after their first meeting, she kept running into Matt four nights in a row. 

Brianne and Matt tied the knot in July 2021. Interestingly, during their vows, Matt revealed that they had not run into each other night after night coincidentally; instead, after the first two nights that they saw each other, he “called around” to find out where Brianne would be. Brianne reflected on her nuptials after the wedding, saying to People, “It was the most beautiful feeling to be surrounded by so many people we love. The night was more magical than I could have ever imagined.” In June 2023, Brianne and Maat when they welcomed their first child together.
