Weddings in India are a gala affair. It is not merely a union of two souls but also sticking to one's rich culture and tradition. Gone are the days when a bride would stick to the usual red colour for her shaadi ka joda. Brides these days are way ahead in experimenting with their looks with unique designs and pop-up colours.
The moment we enter a wedding, the first thing we notice is the bride and how beautiful she is looking on the most important day of her life. With her beautiful lehenga, flawless makeup, gorgeous jewellery, she looks nothing less than a dream. However, over the past few years, brides have been opting for unique colours for their lehengas, and our bride of the week did the same.

Our bride of the week, Aastha Mehta, got married at Taj Vivanta in the serene valley of Kashmir. She opted for a unicorn lehenga on her D-day and looked like a million-dollar bride. The lehenga designed by ace fashion designer, Anamika Khanna had a combination of pastel colours like peach, yellow and blue. The peach-coloured choli had detailed embroidery and stonework. The bride pinned a peach-coloured dupatta on her head. Her dupatta had colourful embroidery on its border.
Aastha accentuated her look with a gorgeous choker necklace with green stones and pearls and matching earrings. She donned another necklace in white, maroon and green stones, along with a nath and maang teeka. With her pastel lehenga, Aastha opted for neutral makeup. Her blushed cheeks, nude lips, bindi and black eyeliner, added a glow to her face and defined her complete look.
