Youth icon and member of BTS which is South Korea’s popular boy band, Suga, recently held his solo concert tour in Seoul on August 6, 2023. During the concert, two of his band members, RM and Joon, joined him on stage respectively to present a track. RM and Suga even performed an unreleased and untitled track for their fans. By the end of the concert, Suga broke down into tears as he dropped hints to his ‘army’ that this may be his last concert before military enlistment. Following the tour, Suga's agency dropped an official confirmation of the K-pop idol's military enlistment.
A day after Suga’s ‘August D-the-final’ tour, his agency, Bighit Music, took to their official X account (Former Twitter) and announced that Suga has applied for termination of the postponement of his military enlistment and has subsequently initiated the procedure. The final date of his military enlistment is yet to be announced. While 'August D-the-final’ was Suga’s solo tour, his fellow bandmates, RM and Joon accompanied the star to perform a few of the tracks. RM joined Suga to sing one of BTS’ unreleased and untitled tracks as a gift for their fans, who are reffered to as ‘army’. At the beginning of the track, RM announced to the crowd that this might be the last time he performed before his enlistment. He also added:
“I think this is the last time I’m standing on stage before enlistment.”
Things got emotional as Suga wrapped up his tour by performing his hit single, Snooze. The singer was visibly struggling to complete the song as he was getting close to tears. Suga burst into tears during the last chorus line, ‘Everything will be okay,’ when the crowd started singing along with him. Suga’s last tour before military enlistment was an emotional wreck. Suga concluded his tour and added:
“So let’s see each other again in 2025. All right? Please wait a bit.”
