Katrina Kaif is one of the most prominent names in the Hindi film industry. The actress, with a career spanning over two decades, is popular not just for her acting skills and charming personality but also for her beauty and fitness. It is widely known that the 41-year-old is very particular about her dietary habits and fitness. Recently, Katrina's 'go-to nutritionist' opened up about the secrets behind her healthy and fit body.
Shweta Shah, a popular Ayurvedic nutritionist, appeared in an interview on yoga trainer, Shhlloka's podcast, Body To Being, and shared insights about Katrina Kaif's secret diet. During the conversation, the nutritionist revealed that the Bollywood actress observes her body a lot and tries to understand its needs. Moreover, Katrina never blindly followed any unsolicited opinions on the internet. Sharing that the actress knows her body well, Shweta said:
"I have seen that she observes her body a lot and understands it well. She doesn’t blindly follow you or what the internet is saying. She is someone who wants an answer to everything. She understands food as medicine, the qualities of food, and what impact it has on her body. Since she knows her body well, she only comes to me and asks for certain alternatives, like iron source or which juices to have."

Further in the conversation, Katrina's nutritionist revealed that she has a 'pita' body, which means she has a high metabolism and requires cooling meals. Shweta also shared that the 41-year-old actress prefers 'Ghar ka khana' over everything else and has been fond of Ayurveda. Moreover, Katrina only eats two meals a day, and she does not have food every two hours. In Shweta's words:
"She loves Ayurveda and even follows a few self-care rituals like oil pulling, shatpavali (100 steps after lunch and dinner), nasal cleansing, and all. She only has two meals a day and is not someone who eats every two hours. She sticks to ghar ka khana and carries it with her. She is someone who will eat the same kind of food."
After revealing Katrina's diet habits, the celebrity nutritionist also shared some insights into Deepika Padukone's diet. Shweta said that the actress is into a sustainable diet and not into fancy ones. Sharing that Deepika is a typical South Indian girl, Shweta highlighted:
"Deepika is somebody who wants a sustainable diet, she's not into these fancy diets. She's a typical South India. Even if I try to give her a broccoli pancake or some noodles, then on the third day, she'll call and say ki 'Shweta, ye sab mat de. Give me some my kind of rasam-rice kind of a diet.' She's blessed with a nice and a very high metabolism."
