Chandrika Dixit, aka Vada Pav Girl, is one of the contestants on Bigg Boss OTT 3. She used to sell vada pavs on the streets of Delhi and became an internet sensation when her videos went viral on the internet. Chandrika enjoys a massive fan following, but not many know about her tumultuous childhood. Recently, she opened up about her personal life and revealed how she was mistreated by her relatives when her father turned an alcoholic after her mother's demise.
In the latest episode of Bigg Boss OTT 3, Ranvir Shorey, Munisha Khatwani, and Chandrika Dixit were seen sitting in the garden area and talking about their personal lives. During the conversation, Chandrika got candid about her parents and revealed that she had never seen their faces. She mentioned that her mom passed away when she was just six months old and said:
"I never saw their faces (her parents). I was six months old when my mother passed away."

Ranvir, who was attentively listening to Chandrika, asked who brought her up. Responding to it, the Vada Pav Girl opened up by saying that her dad became an alcoholic after her mother's demise. She recalled how he used to leave her at some relatives' place and would get married again and again. Chandrika admitted to not having developed a bond with her dad and said:
"After my mom passed away, mere papa ko daaru ki latt lag gayi aur mujhe kabhi ye rishtedaar kabhi woh rishtedaar ke paas chhod dete the. Wo phir shaadi pe shaadi karte rahe. Mere papa ke saath kabhi nahi bana."
Reacting to Chandrika's shocking revelation, Ranvir asked, "Kitne shaadi huye?" To this, she replied that her dad married 4-5 times, and finally, her nani adopted her when she was 8-9 years old. Chandrika revealed that her nani was disheartened to see how the little girl was being shuffled around relatives and was not given proper meals. She said:
"4-5 honge. Jab zarurat thi mujhe tab nahi tha. When I was 8-9-yrs-old my naani adopted me in a proper way. She learnt that I was being shuffled around relatives. She got to learn how I was being treated there, then she adopted me. At my relatives' place, I would be given the last roti left in the kitchen."

Ever since Chandrika Dixit made her grand appearance on the reality show, Bigg Boss OTT 3, everyone has been curious to know about her per-day income. In one of the show segments, Chandrika indulged in a lively conversation with her fellow housemates and revealed her daily earnings. Talking about her infamous bhandara controversy with the police, she revealed that she earns Rs. 40,000 per day by selling Vada Pav on the streets of Delhi. Chandrika added that people often comment on others' lives without knowing their stories and struggles.
