Karwa Chauth is often termed as a festival that speaks volumes of couple love as a partner fasts for an entire day to pray for the long life of their better-half. Celebrated highly in North India, while earlier it was mostly wives, who used to observe Karwa Chauth but now, even husbands fast for the long life of their better-halves and together they pray for their relationship. And similar is the Hindu festival of Hariyali Teej, which is celebrated by married women, who offer their prayers to Goddess Parvati for the long life of their husbands. Hariyali Teej symbolises the richness and satisfaction of a happily married life. (Also Read: Deepika Padukone Demands An Explanation From Hubby Ranveer Singh As He Posts 'I Love My Sofa' Selfie)
It was in June 2019 when Sushmita Sen's brother, Rajeev Sen had embarked on his married life journey with TV actress, Charu Asopa and their social media profiles had spoken of their mushy love. But before their first wedding anniversary, Rajeev had moved to Delhi and the rumours mills churned reports of trouble in his paradise with wife, Charu. Charu had also removed 'Sen' from her name, adding fuel to the speculations.
Amidst the reports of trouble in Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa's married life, the latter celebrated the festival of Hariyali Teej and wished every woman a lifetime of happiness. Dressed in a beautiful orange saree, Charu captioned her Hariyal Teej special pictures as "Wishing all the beautiful women out there a lifetime of happiness, days full of new experiences and surroundings full of positivity. May Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati bless you and your family with health & prosperity and protect you from evil. Happy Haryali Teej..!"
In an interview with The Times Of India, when Charu Asopa was asked about her personal life and troubles in marriage, she has retorted, “I don’t wish to comment on that. If my marriage is destined to get better, it will. I have left it to God. If there is light at the end of the tunnel, I am sure I will see it someday.” Charu and Rajeev had dated for only a few months before tying the knot in 2019. When asked if it’s important to spend more time getting to know each other before tying the knot, Charu has replied, “I don’t know, as I am not an expert on the subject. However, I don’t think that it is true. Long or short courtship period is not the deciding factor for a happy marriage.” (Also Read: Remo D'souza Fulfils Wife Lizelle's 'Cheat Day' Wish To Have Sweet Parantha But With A Twist [VIDEO])

Amidst the speculations of Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa's troubled married life and statements regarding the same by both of them, the couple had given a hope to their fans that things might resolve between the two. Rajeev, on his IG story, had shared a screenshot of his video call with his wife, Charu and had written, "Hi Charu, hi Rajeev. To all our fans who love us unconditionally" atop it.
In an interview with The Times Of India, Rajeev Sen had claimed that someone close to his wife, Charu Asopa has been brainwashing her and hoped that she doesn't lose her path. Rajeev had said, “Why would I move out of my own house? I can’t stop laughing at these claims. I have three homes — one each in Delhi, Mumbai and Dubai. I guess someone close to Charu is brainwashing her, because she is a simple and innocent girl. It could be someone from her so-called huge friend circle. I hope she doesn’t lose her path. If I find out who the culprit is, I will post his or her name along with a picture and a lot of facts. If they are going to hit me, I’m going to hit them back harder.”
Reacting to Rajeev Sen's statement on someone close to her brainwashing her, Charu Asopa had expressed her take on it and had retaliated by saying that her husband had moved to Delhi a few days before their first wedding anniversary. Charu had said, "No one is brainwashing me. I am mature enough to make my own decisions, something that I have always done. Main hamesha se apne decisions khud leti aayi hoon. Maybe, he was brainwashed into deleting our pictures from his social media handles. If he thinks that I am innocent and gullible, and could be influenced by those around me, why did he leave me to live on my own during these tough times? This is the time for families to come together and be by each other's side. But, Rajeev moved out and flew to Delhi a few days before our first wedding anniversary. It's been two months now. Why would he do that? Shaq ka koi ilaaj nahi hai. What led to this and the issues in our relationship... there is a lot that I can talk about, but I don't want my personal life to become a public spectacle. I don't want it to become a part of anyone's gossip session." (Also Read: Anurag Kashyap Shuts Down Troll Who Mocked His Unsuccessful Marriages With Aarti And Kalki Koechlin)
We hope issues resolve soon between Rajeev and Charu!
