Fame comes with its pros and cons, and one has to pay a huge price on becoming famous. Not ever do we think of before posting a picture on social media, but no matter what a celebrity posts, they’re subjected to some unwanted negative comments and trolls. While fame comes with criticism, on social media, it is accompanied by trolls. Some celebrities give it back to the trolls, some choose to ignore. Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa Sen faced the trolls when they had posted some mushy selfies, giving a glimpse of their ‘wine date’ in April 2020. On April 1, 2020, Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa Sen had given a glimpse of their ‘wine date’. Looking madly-in-love, Rajeev and Charu had posed for some mushy selfies and had posted them on their respective IG profiles. While Rajeev had captioned his post as “In love with quarantined days Ain’t you? #stayhome.” Charu had written, “We are happy being quarantined. #stayhome #staysafe.” But their post didn’t go well with the netizens as they had found it ‘too private’ to be posted on social media. While Charu Asopa Sen had earlier reacted on being trolled for posting her ‘too private’ pictures with husband, Rajeev Sen, now, she has revealed how they had fought a bit too after getting such reaction from the netizens. Revealing that she had asked Rajeev not to post those pictures on social media, Charu shared in an interview with ETimes TV, “We don’t discuss before posting any pic. We share whatever we feel like. Later we realise, ‘arre hum toh troll ho gaye’. Then I told Rajeev ‘maine mana kiya tha even then you posted’ See now we got trolled. We fought a bit too and then all was ok. There is no point reacting to all these. Ignorance is bliss. We just avoid reacting.”

Charu Asopa had added Sen to her name on June 16, 2019, when she had tied the knot with her dream man, Rajeev Sen as per dual wedding customs- a Rajasthani and a Bengali wedding in Goa. Almost a year into marital bliss, Charu reveals how married life is treating her, “I am still discovering so many things about him. Though we have divided our chores sometimes we switch. But we also fight at times. Marriage has been a roller-coaster ride so far. However, I do miss our dinner dates.” If she is planning to make a comeback after marriage, Charu said, “After marriage, I was on a break. So just before the lockdown I was thinking that I have rested a lot and now I should come back. On March 27, 2020, Charu Asopa Sen and Rajeev Sen had celebrated their first Gangaur festival post-wedding at home. Charu had captioned the pictures as “My first gangaur celebration after marriage #quarantined #day19 #21dayslockdown #21dayschallenge.” On the other hand, Rajeev had written, “Quarantined together” followed by a heart emoji. Charu had looked like a graceful newly-wedded bride in a traditional red saree, which she had accentuated with heavy jewellery.
A few days ago, Charu Asopa Sen had posted a video of her dance performance, wearing her hubby, Rajeev Sen’s favourite Punjabi suit and grooving on Madhuri Dixit’s hit song, Humko Aaj Kal Hai. Charu had captioned the video as “Hum ko aaj kal hai intazar… Wearing my hubby’s favourite punjabi suit. And dancing on my all time favourite @madhuridixitnene s song. Day 14.” To which, Rajeev had commented with an array of fire emoticons.
For her wedding with Rajeev Sen, Charu Asopa had looked resplendent as a bride in crimson red and golden lehenga, a heavy traditional necklace, a nose ring and a matha patti, and was indeed a treat to eyes. A few days post her wedding, Charu had revealed that her wedding lehenga was a gift from her sister-in-law, Sushmita Sen. Charu had taken to her IG handle and had penned a heartfelt ‘thank you’ note for her nanad, Sushmita.
