A few days back, Chhavi shared a video on “14-day detox diet” on her social media handle, but a user tried to troll her by mom-shaming her. Chhavi decided to school the troller by sharing the comment on her IG handle. The comment can be read as “Where are you kids when you are making this video? Yeah may be with the servent!! Ms So not superwoman #pretentious.”
Chhavi not just shared the screenshot of the comment but also shut the troll by giving a befitting reply. Responding to the troll question her work-life balance, Chhavi wrote, “This question came on "14 day detox diet" video. Here's my reply, I shot this video at 11pm in the night, after finishing all my office work, domestic work and after putting both kids to bed, when I got my "me" time. It took me 15 minutes to shoot because I didn't memorize or prepare anything, I just spoke from my heart. That was your answer. But the reason to put this comment out here is to ask a question of my own. When will mothers stop putting other mothers down? When will we stop undermining and "judging" working mothers?”

Chhavi concluded her note by telling every woman to ditch the guilt of being a working woman and embrace the inner strength. Addressing her note to all the super moms, Chhavi wrote, “For all mothers who are asked such questions implying, 'just because you are working you are jeopardizing your child's future', remember, you are doing your best. You are teaching your little girl the importance of being independent, and you are teaching your little boy the importance of women's independence. And for mothers who are trying to do something of their own while being at home, ditch the guilt, embrace your strength. #womenpower.”

In an interview with BollywoodShaadis.com, Chhavi Mittal had talked about her experience of parenting and had stated, "Well, parenting is not something that is planned. You have to be very open, flexible as a parent, you cannot be rigid that is one thing I have learnt as a parent to my first child. One thing that Mohit and I both agree with is that we should let our kids be as close to nature as possible and as away from the plastic thing and the digital things, malls and play areas and fancy things. And we would like to at least try to make our kid as grounded as possible."
