Pregnancy is one of the most beautiful yet the most challenging roles in a women’s life. It totally is a superpower to bear a life inside you, but do you think that it is an easy task? While feeling baby kicks inside your tummy is an amazing feeling but it almost tears a woman’s body when she prepares herself to bring her little one physically in this world. And in the process, a woman might gain some pregnancy weight, which is not very difficult to shed, but it is not one of the mandatory tasks as well. And we bet SIT co-founder, Chhavi Mittal totally agrees with that. (Also Checkout: 8 Bollywood Celebrity Mothers Who Opted For C-Section To Deliver Their Celeb Babies)
Known for expressing her thoughts and opinions openly on social media and sharing her entire pregnancy journey bits by bits with her fans and followers, there are a zillion things to learn from this super-mommy and second time, mommy-to-be, Chhavi Mittal. It was only recently when Chhavi indirectly lashed out at a follower (for all the right reasons), who messaged her about his wife’s post-pregnancy weight and compared her to a cow saying “is becoming a cow already”. Sharing more about the disgraceful message and her thoughts for all husbands, Chhavi yet again, voiced her opinions beautifully.
Chhavi Mittal wrote, “Let me begin by thanking each one of you who have been following my posts and inboxing/commenting with your feedback and queries. However, I was completely shocked by a query in my inbox recently. A husband reached out to me asking for weight loss tips for his pregnant wife, who he said “is becoming a cow already”! It pains me immensely to know that a husband, who is seeing his wife go through the daily pain of pregnancy can completely disregard the sacrifice that she has made in terms of her own body, to create a new life for both of them! How can somebody be so insensitive towards their own life partner! What sort of person can treat a woman, any woman in that way!” (Also Checkout: C-Section Pregnancy Guide: Who Needs It, Procedure, Complications And Delivery Side Effects)
Chhavi Mittal’s post could be further read as, “I implore all men, all husbands to RESPECT women around you. Especially if she is pregnant but nevertheless! A woman.. your wife… is getting ready to tear her own body apart to get this beautiful being into this world.. a world which she believes is full of love.. love for her and her baby… So love your wife, because nobody in the world will be with you in your worst times as much as your gorgeous wife, who sticks with you through your romance as much as she does through your rotten temper. And trust me, she will give you FAR more than you will ever give her in your whole life! #Wives.” (Must Read: Juhi Parmar Shares A Strong Message On Mother's Fitness, Says Motherhood Can Never Be An Excuse)
Chhavi Mittal, a few hours back, also posted a very useful tip about having caffeine during pregnancy and shared, "Lots of people showing a lot of concern regarding the consumption of coffee during pregnancy. While it's really a personal choice, I'd still like to bring my own thoughts out in the open. DISCLAIMER: These are my own conclusions that I have formed after a lot of reading and advice from my OBGYN. Drinking coffee is not the best thing during pregnancy. However, if you must consume some, make sure that it's under 200mg per day. This is roughly 2 weak cups a day, depending on the brand you're consuming or the cafe you're visiting. Additionally if you're drinking decaf or tea or green tea along with a cup of coffee, do remember to count the caffeine quotient in these as well! Also, although there are risks associated with coffee consumption during pregnancy, these risks are minor."

Chhavi Mittal further wrote, "So here's my take away from this: Set your limit, and strictly stay below it. When I make coffee for myself at home or in office, I stick to decaf. That's about 10-15 mg a cup. When I go to CCD & drink my favourite cold coffee, I put only half the shot they normally use. That's about a 100 mg. And in total I drink about 4 cups a week. So for all those coffee loving pregnant mothers... Take a deep breath... Relax.... Take a decision regarding this beverage, and stop being regretful about it! Having negative feelings is far worse for your baby than having a few mgs of caffeine! Also attaching an article in my story for you to read. Love & peace from me to you mamas #coffee." A few days ago, Chhavi Mittal took to Instagram and posting a few adorable pictures with her hubby, Mohit Hussein, wrote, “The idiom goes... Behind every successful man there's a woman. But in my case, it's the other way around. Whatever I am today is thanks to this superman in my life.. @mohithussein He gives me strength, he gives me direction... He makes me immensely calm... Everytime there's tension, when I feel low, when I feel like I'm losing my mind... It's he who comes to hold me... Whenever I reach a deadlock, he amazes me with a solution so simple!”
Chhavi Mittal further added, “And just when I thought you can't get better than this, you became the best father in the world too! How do you be the best at so many roles at the same time? #director #father #husband #son #entrepreneur #masterofallwisdom. @mohithussein , if I got a chance all over again to choose my man, I'll choose you over the entire population of the world. Coz I can't get better than the best, can I? You redefine love, companionship, support, passion, genuineness, humility, compassion... The sheer look in your eyes and the warmth in your smile melts my heart each time. I love you, you know that right?”
In a chat with us, Chhavi Mittal had shared some invaluable thoughts about parenting and stated, “Well, parenting is not something that is planned. You have to be very open, flexible as a parent, you cannot be rigid that is one thing I have learnt as a parent to my first child. One thing that Mohit and I both agree with is that we should let our kids be as close to nature as possible and as away from the plastic thing and the digital things, malls and play areas and fancy things. And we would like to at least try to make our kid as grounded as possible." (Recommended Read: How To Get Your Body Back In Shape After Pregnancy)
Chhavi Mittal also shared some sigh-off advice for all pregnant mommies, “My only advice is that just stay happy, try to eat right. Don't eat junk because whatever you are eating, your child is getting nutrition from that. So, just be happy, try to be just as active in your daily chores if you cannot workout for your and baby's health and try to eat as healthy as possible."
